A "Go To First Unread" button for threads! Am I missing something, or is there only the ability to either go to the last post of a thread or the first post? It's tough keeping a mental catalog of which page I was on the last time I checked any particular thread... Any other handy features missing that you'd like to see? TheEndless

Exactly, like Delphi forums, they have a deal like that, and a"posts to me" deal where you can look up replies to you personally that arent pm's. Good though there!

Checkout the "Active Topics" -- it has an "unread" feature. I like the "replies to me" idea. I'll put it in the suggestions. "TinyGecko" is now "CodeFling"

I'm still waiting on the ignore feature. Before I never saw the need... was interested in what everyone had to say but, now after the last MB's ... some of the members statements and ramblings are uncilvil and uncalled for. I would definately like to ignore those posts or members.

I would never ignore you Melmo EVER!!!! And some ramblings are legit. But the links over and over to where TF have been turned in for fraud... etc... or Youtube... come on.. grow up I say. One post is all that was needed ... not over and over ... you know what I mean! Right?

Right? Yes, I do agree. One post stating your opinion is enough. There is no need to continue an argument. and good! I'm glad you won't ignore me...everyone else on here will though !!

I like the "replies to me" idea. I'll put it in the suggestions. Thanks, Code... I didn't even notice that link. It looks like all it does is add "?find=unread" to the end of the url for the thread. Any chance of getting a quick link to that in the normal forum view? (I wouldn't mind that "Go To Last Post" link being replaced, personally. I rarely find a need for that.)TheEndless

I like the "replies to me" idea. I'll put it in the suggestions. Works great on the other place I mentioned, kinda lets you not miss the people that are trying to converse with you, especially on those big threads like that MB one that is awfully aggressive right now!

But I'll look into finding a more prominent location for it. "TinyGecko" is now "CodeFling"

I can definitely see that being a problem... though, if the search engine is indexing as an non-logged in user, would that link show up for it to index? TheEndless

Active topics/unread is cookie-based -- not based on logged in users. Anyway, I'll look at the options at some point. Thanks to TF I don't have much time to work on this forum software... there are tons of features to add. "TinyGecko" is now "CodeFling"
