Milk and Flutes have been out of the office-- I just made the mistake of popping my head into the MB forum and it is a feeding frenzy in there.

Barely-- it looked like the subjects were about to burn down the castle of the royal court after this last MB. I heard from Milk about an hour ago, he is on I-35 somewhere south of wichita Ks and Flutes is taking a vacation week so she can show her daughter all of the wackos that call Oklahoma home (she is from CA).

oh yeah..that's right! he went on a trip this week didn't he?
lol@ the wackos. My kids have never seen where I grew up. We keep talking about taking them up there, but never get around to doing it. (I grew up outside of DC...in Bethesda, MD) My father has never met my kids at all. The rest of my family only got to see them after our car accident, and they probably wouldn't even recognize them because one was all banged up and the other was just an infant!

Since you are in S. Carolina, I have to ask---- Are you a Clemson fan or a U of S.Carolina fan?

actually neither. But the kids like Clemson, so I'll have to go with that. Hubby's family is Clemson fans. I've never seen such rivalry between 2 colleges before I moved here!

I'm telling you Melmo, you won't admit it, but we're TWINS. You're from the area! I was just in Bethesda a couple days ago(was up in Baltimore today).

LOL!!! did I ask you what high school you went to? Did you grow up there?
My sister teaches in Baltimore...8th grade algebra. I'm not sure what school..I know it's downtown in a low income area. She loves working with the kids there. One of my brothers lives in Silver Spring still as far as I know, and my father still lives in the Bethesda area.

I didn't like what Ioriginally said and then forgotted to go back and edit a new something into it. Smile

I didn't live in Bethesda growing up though I was there pretty often as the family had stuff going on over at the NIH, grew up in Northern VA. But you know how the Washington metro area is like, can't get anywhere without a car and if you live here you're usually driving all over the place. Wink well except if you actually live in DC! Cause if you did that you might as well just spend all your time at Adam's Morgan. Or at least, I would. heh.
