Carcs. can you give some info (brand, model number) on the PDA keyboards? I'm curious to see what they are about. Maybe I can salvage something out of my box. Here I go, being overly optimistic again.

I feel somewhat robbed. The pda keyboards and mp3 players aren't worth much. Only 5 of my ~40 lights worked and they flicker so they might be dying... No one in my family gambles either so the poker stuff is gonna be given away. I don't like Monster much either since they sell their cables for 2-3x what they're really worth. Only thing I've found useful was that little mini fan. Which I needed to buy batteries for...

Sigh, possibly my only time buying a mb.

open a ticket with TF if you cannot resolve it on your end. Someone else had this problem and TF replaced the box.

Got mine just a little while ago--same fair of goods as the other 15lbers already mentioned.

I think this box shares the same attribute as the old Holiday box--it isn't that this stuff isn't worth the money but it is by and large stuff that only specific people would need, and thus comes the disappointment for others.

That said, In my opinion I think the surge protector is probably worth the price (or near it).

About the Xbox Surge Protector: You don't need an original Xbox to use this--it's a surge protector. Use it on your PS3, Wii, 360, Super Nintendo, computer, whatever. It is one of those flat units where something could be put on top of it--like an xbox, or say a monitor. The surge protector is a APC, so it is quality, yes. The only thing that really makes it Xbox specific is that they used the original xbox color scheme and include little xbox logo things. Aside from the power switch being on the front of the surge, there are two bays, left and right, stacked with skinny plastic CD/DVD drawers. That is the game organizer, obviously any game from any system will fit in it (as long as it's CD/DVD proportions/type) and obviously regular CDs or DVDs will fit in the trays too. So if you were to say put this under your computer monitor, it might be nice you'd have some organized CDs right in front of you.

About the Cell lights--If you got ones that don't work or stutter, try pumping them--rapidly press and depress the button for a few seconds. I went through one of the 24 packs I received, and by doing this to all that were stuttering on me, I was able to revive them all into acting normally (IE the light came on and stayed on brightly). Out of my pack of 24, only THREE (3) were completely dead, these were the ones that didn't work at all (not even stutteringly), I don't think 3 out of 24 is all that bad. Not sure what I'm going to do with all of them yet, but I'll find uses for them--heck I got so many, I can abuse em.

Wow, after reading all the comments and seeing what folks are actually getting I can tell I'm going to be major disappointed. I can already tell I'm not even going to get the mp3 players that other 1st timers received and that was the only thing I've seen listed so far that I might even be able to utilize.(sigh) Guess this was my first and last MB Sad

Got my 6 MB's today.
Same content as yours, with a bit better luck with the lights.
27 out of 96 work...
I priced the batteries around and 100 (for 50 of the lights) would cost around $23.00
shipped.
Anyone know of a cheaper source?
Can't bring myself to donate non-working items......so.....
Otherwise, the other stuff was pretty cool!

Just checked my 2nd pack of 24, 7 dead(but I counted a couple that were low light and/or stuttering). Seriously try the repeated button pressing for 5 seconds, I've had more than a few come back to life that way(bright light and stuttering stops)... Anyway so that's10 total out of 48 that won't light.

BTW- DealExtreme has the cr1220 batteries you need in a 5 pack for $1.96 shipped. here

edit: price drops steadily if you buy quantity at DX, so if you buy 10 or more for exampole it's $1.26 each
