well you could hang them in the trees, take pictures, claim it's space ships, sell them to the Enquirer, then buy a new house with waxed floors

You could attach one to each light switch in your house (if you had a house Spar) so that you could find the light switch in the dark.
You could put them on the bottoms of all your shoes so that you could see where you're going when you're trying to find a real flashlight.
You could give them instead of tips at your least favorite restaurant.

I don't have mine yet, but I will be promptly sending them back and / or disputing the purchase with my credit card company (based on everything I have read in the several other active threads regarding the mystery boxes). And, I am sure it will be my last TF purchase. In no way, from all reports, were these in the spirit of the item description. Of course, I'll await mine for final judgment, but I feel it doesn't look good.
Of course, if my claim is denied for some reason, I'll just take out my revenge by continuing to order and initiating a charge back on every order - knowing (as a merchant myself) that every time a charge back is filed it costs the merchant anywhere from $20-$50 in processing fees regardless if the dispute is won or not. I have a feeling I'll be THAT pissed . . . no way are they getting thirty plus bucks from me and sending me complete tripe and getting away with it.
If everyone charges back, it'll bankrupt them . . .

Wow devilish. I don't know what to say. Seems a lot of people are leaving after this mystery box. It wasn't quite what everyone thought....50 $1 items... But I didn't buy it, so I can't complain.

What is the "wow" for???? Melmo, the biggest question is WHY in the hell did they think this wouldn't backfire on them, and do / did they have a "death wish" for their website???? So far EVERY SINGLE report regarding these items is COMPLETELY contrary to the spirit of the item description and TAKES ADVANTAGE of everyone that ordered one. Of course people are leaving. Who can blame them"?

I'm curious to hear the response to the $60.00 mystery box. Can they really fit that many cell phone flashlights into a toilet paper box?

What really chaps my butt is that knowing they intended to screw people with these Boobie prize lights why did they let people order multiple sets of three knowing that a guy like me is sitting here thinking what the F**k am I going to do with 96 of thees things? They made it sound like we were getting new items never seen before, I gaurentee no one would have bought theese cell phone lights had they listed them on thing fling! Well, I have never personally seen the cell phone lights listed on TF before - so, they may very well be "something we haven't seen before." BUT - nobody, including myself, needs 96 of the darn things. I bought 3 MBs, and I expect a variety - if not, I won't be buying MBs again. People with expendable cash may not have the same disappointment as someone like me who is on a tight budget. I can't afford to be wasting my money on utter crap that I can't even resell on Ebay.

Ok, I'll post my feelings too since you did. I am VERY VERY VERY grateful I did NOT spend my money on this. I can't afford to buy mystery boxes anyway, but when I do, I expect to get my money's worth just like everyone else. I really feel that Thing fling thought we'd be pleased that we got so many of them. I'm sorry...but $0 x any number is still 0. We can't make money off these and we don't even want to keep them ourselves. You really screwed over any newbies that came on here to buy the mystery box, and I doubt any of them will come back. I was patient with the KEONs, sure...because I got shagged. I now see why everyone was so pissed then, and why they are pissed now. Sorry, TF, but no more mystery boxes for me either.

Melmo - I am glad to see you posting honestly and not just "towing the TF line" on this one. You are right, everyone that ordered one of these got the shaft. Period. I would have thought also that they (TF) would have been paying you to moderate by now - you'd make a good one - what ever happened to that? Didn't Shaggy say something in an email about considering you for a job? No offense meant, bu with the number of people ticked off about this MB deal you might be working for a sinking ship anyway . . . This is a bad, bad, bad thing the fling has done here. Totally inexcusable. People trusted them, felt like they were part of something, people that are on fixed income (like others have said) - and they got took. The only mystery to these boxes is how they ever thought they would get away with selling them in the first place and that people would not revolt. I said it before, I will say it again, it is almost like they had / have a "death wish" for the site . . . this is nuts. And not like nuts in a good Jericho kind of way . . . lol
