I've always wanted to go into advertising actually..but..alas...don't know the right people...probably not in the right state...and most of all..no training! BUT..I have ideas..lots and lots of ideas!!! I wish I knew how to do web animation...I always wanted to make a web commercial for my antique store using the old..Dog's Playing Poker painting...and animate it. add sound/voices making all the dogs talk and come to life for the advertisement...there's a whole series of these paintings and I wanted to make one of those serial commercials using each of them! It would be free advertising if posted on YouTube and send thru the email and have it passed along. It would of course need to be super funny to make it work. But..alas..I don't know anything about animation programs Hey..if the folks at area 51 showed up at ThingFling...it would be on national news..hmm..might not be a bad deal..especially when they find out they're innocent and it was all of their customers that did this!
