Violence is never the answer unless you are defending yourself against someone who intends to kill you or someone else OR unless the state is executing someone using the death penalty.

Should we abolish the death penalty?

Yes, but we need something a bit more effective than the federal penitentiary system to take it's place.

Should talking on a cell phone while driving be treated the same as wreck-less operation of a motor vehicle (mandatory license suspension in my state)?

I don't think so because there is a lot of other activities which can be just as bad. Like eating, drinking (not booze but tipping a cup/glass can be just as distracting as a cell phone) applying make-up or even talking to the person in the seat next to you. It's not that I don't think that talking on the cell phone isn't a distraction but people will always find a way to distract themselves (we're good at it). If we start heading this way with the cell laws then we might end up on a slippery slope of A LOT of things being regulated and having a big unenforceable fiasco of traffic regs. As it is the cell laws are almost a joke. I'm not even opposed to current cell bans I just think that they are almost impossible to actually regulate.

I'd rather be a vegetarian... a guy at work lost a couple of fingers and he said it was extremely painful for a long time after he lost them.

Would you rather have fun all of your life and live to 45, or live separated from everyone and take no risks to live to 100?

Yes, I do live in the UP of Michigan, and as much as I love summer, you can't have Christmas without a few feet of snow on the ground.... but summer could be a bit longer.

Sticking to the same subject, would you rather deal with a blizzard or a hurricane.

Blizzard. This I understand and know what to do. Hurricane, I just sit down and cry...

Along this subject (sort of) do you prefer a Blizzard (DQ) or a concrete mixer (Culvers)?

DVD/Blu-Ray. That way I can feel free to MST3K the movie if it stinks. Or even if it doesn't. If I do go to the theater it is almost always a drive-in.

Do those snack foods really want us to all go to the lobby? Wouldn't we be purchasing and eating their relatives?

Yes, they want us to eat their relatives so that they won't get eaten. It's a vicious cycle!

If the question is which di I prefer I'd say BOTH.
If the question is which one do I consider myself to be I'd say BIG DOG.
