Back of the package says CR1220. I've had pretty bad luck with mine. 1 good, 1 flicker and 10 nothing.
On a plus note, I got 2 sets, bonus items were 2 monster t's and an altec palm speaker system Thanks for the post. I don't think I'll be able to use the cr1220's (if they even have any power left) except maybe in a laser pointer.

Well it was a MB and I got the joy of buying 9. I had fun and anticipation, I am not angry with what I got. I could have used something different, but I got; 100+ mostly working little cell lights the others can get new lithium buttons and I have a ton of those 12 Poker watches (2 different types) 4 PDA keyboards 3 X-box power stations 3 T-Shirts The flashlights are give aways and bring good karma (Gave 2 boxes to a local bar maiden and I got a free drink). The shirts will be yard work, painting fodder. The watches will be stocking stuffers/last minute birthday gifts. The power stations will find a life with my Wii or in the garage. The PDA keyboards will go to co-workers that have palms. All in all I think it was a fair trade. I got the TF community, some anticipation, and some stuff I can give out and not feel like I lost anything. Hey it was a crap shoot and I think TF held up their end well enough. The Brits refer to "shagged" as getting lucky, but Americans generally refer to it as the opposite. Well I'm American, so I guess I got shagged!
Seriously though, it WAS a mystery box, and against my better judgement, I decided to gamble just this once (the 3.77 MB shouldn't count because that can hardly buy a gallon of gas today). Yes, I'm very disappointed, but... how does that saying go, Mr. President?

Oh yeah. so I guess I likely won't be buying MB's again. Maybe AMB's.
Looking at the contents of the box, the poker watches are kind of neat. My wife will probably use one and I can give at least one away as a gift to a poker-lover. Heck, I may even use one for times of boredom (like waiting for the kids at the McDonalds playland. For $2.50 apiece, it isn't that bad. The game manager is still a surge protecter, although a big one and at a pretty pathetic 420 joule capacity, but it DOES offer a $25k in protection (I haven't read the fine print yet). Still not horribly bad at $10. The Monster shirt fits me. The cell phone lights ALL work techinically, but you have to really wiggle/massage/sqeeze/bend most of them to turn on. Mostly useless, but the kids like them. The PDA keyboards are the only things absolutely useless to me.
To sum it all up, yes, I'm disappointed, but I knew the gamble going in. The only totally useless item (to me) was the keyboards and TF is essentially refunding my money on those. For everyone complaining that we'll have to buy more crap in order to get our money back, that's the nature of business. Come on, are you trying to tell me that (and this is especially for you regular flingers swearing off TF) all of your previous flings, that you were once so high on, all of a sudden are horrible deals? That TF will no longer offer great deals in the future? Just don't buy any more MB's.

Well, got my box. No big surprises there. I like the large 'keep refrigerated' marking on the box...apparently it wasn't refrigerated judging by the musty smell of the boxes of Cell Phone Lights (how long WERE these things sitting in a damp warehouse before someone pawned them off on ThingFling?). My cats LOVE the odor though and keep trying to claw their way into the box. It was random, and a mystery box, so I can't complain much, but I also won't be able to give the same answer with the answer I've provided on the various forums I post on. When asked about ThingFling MBs, I indicated that, though it may not be what YOU wanted, it was always worth more than you paid. In this case, a stack of dying cell lights that another site was dumping for $.39 a piece shipped, 6-year-old PDA keyboards that server no other function, and a bunch of dead poker watches just don't fit the 'worth more than you paid for it'. Technically it might be correct, but they are SO useless, they don't have enough value to sell in a dollar store. I think the Surge protector fits the bill (not necessarily what I need, but really worth more than the $9.99 paid).

Looks like I was too late to cancel my order: although I'm still "Processing" in the system. I got two large boxes dropped off by Fedex this morning. They do smell of wet cardbosard, but no mold or mildew. Looks like they sent me one set of three boxes containing the usual junk, but substituted other stuff for the other nine boxes (thank God). The watches comprised one mystery box, and if you ordered two boxes individually, they might have assigned you the same box twice. You'd think they would notice this and at least give you two different packages. If you really feel left out, PM me with your address and I'll send you a box of twelve dead cell phone lights.
