Guys calm down--They'll ship out eventually. Some items take longer to ship than others, but they will ship in the end. A week is not really that long, especially when you only tally the business days. Does F ship the next day Occasionally but not usually. Shouldn't be much longer till it ships. Think of the extra waiting time as trade off for a price that is below what you'd pay elsewhere.

If you need to talk to someone, submit a trouble ticket on the help desk, but I would urge you just to be more patient if all you want is to ask why it's still processing, it won't make it ship any faster and just clogs the help desk.

No offense, but your boilerplate response does nothing to help. If they can't ship faster than this they need to add some help to get it done. My guess is that they sold these items without stock and they arrived in-house later than expected.

That said, I just received an email stating that my fling shipped via FedEx (ground, obviously) at midnight on April 30th, and FedEx says it was picked up from Keasbey, NJ at 4:13PM the same day. Unfortunately, it will take a week to get here!

Wow, yeah really wanted one of these but missed out everytime. Selling on ebay for a good profit too, and they didn't send me one in that rediculous mystery box... oh well, better luck next time I hope

Do I personally care if you get your keyboard set or not? No, I'm not thingfling. Just letting you guys know that a week or whatever it was is not reason to to go beserk and run around in circles here at thingfling. Was it a longer wait than MOST of the items they ship out? Yes, was it the longest wait? No. I'd call it about average.

Glad everyones getting their shipment notices, no need to fret.

Received my keyboard/mouse today. Keyboard SUCKS as it adds extra characters with almost every keypress. The mouse is pretty darn cool though. I'm going to mess with the settings more and hopefully will be able to fix the keyboard issue. It's definitely used. Got some "gunk" on some of the keys. Gotta clean that crap off asap.

mine came, the keyboard works good, but it seems like the mouse is dead. it's supposed to blink green while charging, it get nothing. let it charge a few hours, and there is nothing lighting up. i'll give it a few more hours, but I think I got a lemon.

If in the end it is definitively defective, just submit a trouble ticket on the helpdesk, thingfling will take care of the rest.

I think you'll be pleased with whatever response you get, I've never not had them replace a defective product. I also imagine they still have more of these things, in fact I bet it'll be up for sale again- soon enough. Good luck!

Yeah, mine came today. On a Saturday, surprisingly enough. In any event, I haven't had time to check them out yet, but definitely need to since both of their boxes look like the entire TF staff took turns kicking them around the warehouse before they eventually kicked them into the shipping box and shouted "GOAL!"

One of them still has a price sticker on it though for $99.99. Of course, that's the one of my two whose box is far the worse for wear.

This is the second order for this I've received. The first order (months ago), the box was in great shape and the mouse and keybd looked brand new.

I received the 2nd set today, the box was torn, scratched, dented, you name it. The tape that was supposed to be covering the battery from making contact, was a piece of torn paper.

After saying this. I charged up the mouse and added batteries to the keybd, and it works great.

In my experience normally 24-48 hours. But I imagine the helpdesk is unusually busy at the moment what with the infamous fiasco going on. It might be worth your time to look up the ticket on the helpdesk just in case they replied but your email got eaten.

Has anyone else had problems getting their mouse to sync? The mouse and keyboard were shipped to me in a random frozen food box. The packaging looked like it had been run over by a truck. However the mouse and keyboard looked fine. I was able to sync the keyboard with no problem, but I cannot get the mouse to work. I charged it for 8 hours and all. Is there a trick to getting the mouse to work or am did I get one that's broken/defective?

If it is defective what is the best thing to do? Should I contact Gyration? Is there a warranty on these things? Or should I just put in a ticket with Thing Fling?

I received the keyboard in a recent MB - but I did not receive the mouse. Do I need the accompanying mouse to get the keyboard to function properly? I haven't tried it yet, but wanted to know before I invested too much time messing around with it. Also, I didn't get a CD or anything like that along with the keyboard. So, how do I get my PC to recognize new hardware?

Keyboard will function without the mouse. Your computer should recognize the keyboard as soon as you plug it in. In fact if you just plugged in the wireless base and did nothing else the keyboard would more or less work off the bat. But if you wanna use the extra function buttons on the keyboard (anything that isn't part of a standard keyboard layout) you'll just need to download the appropriate software from gyrations site.

Well, I didn't get a plug in cord - I reckon that would probably help.....I was wondering how the heck it was gonna work.....now I know - duh.....I'm such a dork.....

Got one a few weeks ago. I had one previously. They've changed the receivers for these. The older models had a small telescoping antenna on a base and had fine range. This one came with a "USB Key" receiver similar to a Logitech or Microsoft mouse. The range is not nearly as good. My keyboard occasionally stops receiving at just 6'.

Other than that, still a fine product though, this is my second one. You just won't be getting 30' range with it.
