Ah, ok. Now, it's officially not ignored. still doesn't show on main page as active, at least for me. Don;t understand why. not too hopeful that TF will actually read it, though, considering that they didn't read the thread about the 16gb flash drives until after they shipped 'em out...

that explains it. i figured that was the case. makes it a bit hard to start a topic and get responses, though. ignoring a topic you don't like will force it off of the active discussions, though. and some of the other topics that are listed under active discussions seem questionable.

ah, well. no big deal to me either way, i won't get upset about a forum on a web site, anyway.

so in the off-chance that it comes up again, you'd recommend it?

I have a chandelier (that sounds kinda fancy pants since it's in my family room) made by the same manufacturer. Same materials (brass nickel finish) but differently shaped. I don't even want to tell you what I paid for it and IT WAS ON SALE. If these come back, you'll have to fight me for them and I don't even have a spot for one. How sad is that?

Speaking of Mushrooms....I did my good deed for the day....I was driving my son to pick up the fiancee and I noticed a older man 70-75 maybe older on his knees I kind of slowed down and he acted like he was trying to get my attention it worked. he told me that he was in the woods picking mushrooms to eat..Ugghhhh and he stepped in a hole and twisted his ankle and crawled thru the woods ( which I believed him. had cuts all over him from the branches well any ways pulled over and he told me his van was about a 1/4 mile down the road. He gave me his key to the van i walked down to the van and drove it down to him so he could get into it and drive off. I had asked if he needed to contact a family member or maybe an ambulance but he refused.

I cannot stand shrooms...give me the wacky weed...LOL
