Queen Fling wants to come home; she comes to a fork in the road. She can go either way; one takes her to the Fling Kingdom the other to a never ending road.
At the fork there are two brothers, one that only lies and the other who always tells the truth.
The Queen has one question ask but she does not know which brother she is speaking with.
What question would the Queen need to ask, to make sure she gets to the Fling Kingdom?

Ask either one, "If I asked the other guy which way leads safely to the kingdom, what would he say?" ... then use the OTHER way. 39 flings as of 7-4-08 and counting

Either man should be asked the following question: "If I were to ask the other man if this is the way I should go, would he say yes?" While asking the question, the hiker should be pointing at either of the directions going from the fork.

Go to either twin and ask which road the other twin would tell her to go. Either way, the answer will be the wrong path. Then the queen can take the opposite path and it will be the correct one. Lemon Curry?

dear brothers, you are both going on a journey home with me. pick the path. if we wind up going down the wrong path, i will shoot you both. now answer, which path should we go down? take your time.

Ask if the other is lying. Or... She beats them both up, goes a little ways down each path, if she sees the kingdom she's on the way to happiness, if she doesn't then she can turn around and take the other road Or... she could go see the wizard who tells her to follow the yellow brick road Or... She could climb a tree and look for the kingdom from the top of it Or... She can use the available resources McGuyver style and make an aircraft device where she can then hover in the skies to look for the kingdom and just fly to it Or... I'm just being goofy

i would say whip out my nocks, my binoculars! but in this case, "if I was ask you whether you always tell the truth, what would you say?" in this case a reply of "yes" means you are talking to the truth and if "no" means you are talking to the liar hehe double negitives! end of story hehe (i think someone already said this though  )

this answer has been given, but heres a clarification
ask either of the brothers, "if i asked your brother which way to the town what way would he say?" when the brother answers this question go the opposite way because if he was the truth brother he would know that lying brother would send you the wrong way and the truth brother would point that way,
if you asked the lying brother the same question then he would know that his truth borther would send you the right way and he would end up telling you the correct way,

The queen should ask each brother Is this the correct road to take. The liar would say yes and the truth teller would say yes. Therefore she would know the correct road to take. Both brothers need to answer the question with a yes answer.

Ask each brother if they would like to come along on the journey and then check your Garmin GPS that you purchased so you would know the correct path to take.

That's Thing Flings security? No wonder shipping takes so long, You're confronting a UPS driver with a logic problem?  I have a tougher question, how many poor UPS drivers are on the never ending road?
