One suggestion for the memory cards, if you have a memory card reader on your pc, or can get one cheap, you can use the memory cards to backup files..  that's what I plan on doing with mine..

32 MB Kodak Compact Flash Card. That fits about 3 raw photos! But as I can't complain (according to the rules): It is great for firmware upgrades!
