will you be doing another one of these wacky days? Maybe a Wacky Sunday? Unfortunately I couldn't participate in the Wednesday one since I was at the office that day..and well..sometimes my job gets in the way of my online shopping! Now...a Super Wacky Sunday would be great! Looks like some people got some nice stuff for only .99cents! I'm totally jealous!!

Hi I recieved the HP Wireless Optical Mouse With Remote Charging Bas) 27-0753 (27-753 on box).. I cant get it to work. I have tried everything in the manual to get this to work, and the only thing that works is the mouse buttons, it wont move around... This product barely has any trace of existence online when trying to search for it. I found it its from radioshack, yet its not listed in their database either. Amazon doesnt have it listed for sale anymore, Im wondering why!?? Anyone have any ideas? Is this mouse so old that I need a special mousepad w/ grid maybe?? sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this but I'm new here =) Any help would be appreciated =)

Hi Ratula..I've had my share of mouse problems like that in the past. There should be a little reset button on the bottom...push that in for a moment and see if it works then. Also..check to see if there is a protective plastic film over the laser on the bottom..I know my Logitech one came with clear plastic that you actually can't see until you pick at it...the whole mouse was covered in this plastic film actually. Also the usb transmitter might have a button also..my microsoft one for the laptop has a button on that thing too.

Made me think of this one: Try running it across different surfaces too. Optical mivce have a lot of trouble with dark black surfaces or sometimes just a surface that has no details on it.

Oh definately! The first time I used my first laser mouse I was on a glass top table...it doesn't read clear either!

So are the items you receive when you get the 99 cent item something that is truly worth 99 cents like....a mouse pad or is it some random item most likely worth more than 99 cents?

Thanks guys, I tried all of those things.. I had hope in looking for plastic over the laser, as that was the only thing I hadn't tried before I read your feedback. Still doesn't work. I was going to run the mouse over with my car to get my frustration of spending at least an hour of work/research trying to get it to work. but I can use it for the regchargable batteries I guess lol I'm go get the one on sale at Office Max for 9.99 I guess, cuz now I'm determined to get rid of my corded mouse .

You really ought to open a trouble ticket with thingfling about it. It sounds like you got a defective product, and they're pretty good about taking care of that sort of thing. (although to be sure i'd first try it on another PC to make sure it's not just your PC having problems with it)

On this promotion, items were definately worth more. As for the current, that is yet to be seen. Knowing items received in previous AMB's and MB's from the Fling Crew, shouldn't have anything to worry about.

And I dont want to pay for S&H to send it back lol. I'm gona see how the other .99 things end up Anyhow, I'm gona let it go. There's a reason u can barely find any info on this model online hah. I think ThingFling bought from the peddler that sold the Chucky doll in Child's Play

Thanks Thing Fling! I just got the Philips DECT2252G/37 phone. This has got to be one of the best $.99 purchases I have ever made. Keep up the good work! "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then flingest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."# of Flings: Well, there was the one with Angelina . . .
