I feel robbed, I ordered four bags hoping that I would get two of whatever the best one was. I know they said that if you got more than three there would be duplicates but NOWHERE did thingfling say that if I ordered four it would be four of the same bag. Not only that, I got four of the one I was least excited about after reading the contents: that stupid Ionizer thing. This was my first fling and you can bet it will be my last!!! Evil or Very Mad Shame on you

They did warn you. If you read it, they said if you order more than 3, you will have duplicates. It never said "You will get three different ones and another bag". Next time (if there is one), try not to be greedy and maybe you'll get some good stuff.

They said duplicates, but not four of the same exact bags. They did say you would get three different bags and then obviously a duplicate since there were only three different bags available. Glad they are fixing it!

I retract my "last fling" comment pending the fix. I have to say, I am impressed that fling would fix this, even though I obviously would have preferred to get the different bags in the first place. Not many places I know would be so quick in admitting fault and starting to fix it. I'm still not the happiest person in the world, but I'm less upset than I was when I opened the package. Maybe they'll even throw in a little something extra for me Laughing just kidding.....(but really thingfling, if you want to I'm fine with it Wink )
EDIT: They are letting me keep the four of the same I got and shipping me the different ones, all in all this is a very satisfactory solution for me. Thank you thingfling for being so prompt with the fix, I WILL most likely fling again in the future thanks to the great customer service.

Not happy with my 3 MB either. I work in a dollar store and we sell the exact same NeoGlo flash thingies. The UB Kool doesn't work and the Emerson Revealing light has a place for an adapter but none was included. The Coleman laser level was the only decent thing in the box. Definately "not" a Greeeeeat gadget or electronics box as stated. Definately not worth $35.00. I won't be buying anymore MB from ThingFlings. Rolling Eyes

can you tell me what's in the little white box?? i ordered 2 mystery bags and got one of each of what you got, except for the white box (i got the emerson flashlight instead). is the flashlight itself supposed to be a mystery bag on its own for me?? makes no sense...

I got the UB Kool as well. I think it may actually be really useful for me. It seems to work great. I put batteries in and turned it to cool and after a minute or so the blue circle starts to feel nice and icy. Seeing as how I'll be going to Kuwait next week, I'm going to put it through it's paces in 130 degree+ temps and see how it works for me. The other stuff will become swag for a geocache.

the white boxes are the emerson emergency car lights: my guess is that the flashlight is a mystery bag on its own.

I got my 3 bags and had a chance to go over everything.

Most of the little flashy lights dont work even with replacing the batteries. The UB Kool is kinda neat. No box or instructions but it seems to work and the little plate cools to the touch, the emergency lights are pretty cool, I will put one in my moms car and the other in mine. and the Ionic thing I dont have a 9volt to test with but I suspect that will come in handy when travaling.

Overall its ok, I was expecting alot greater suprise given the description and I wouldnt call it $35 worth but like we have said it is a mystery

29 Flings so far!

Here's the contents of my (three-box) package:

Emerson Revealing Light. Largish flashlight with both florescent and incandescent bulbs and a blinker.

Emerson Car Magnetic Emergency Light. Nice. Plugs into your car cigarette lighter and produces a high-intensity beam.

Glow Wand. (Beginning to see a pattern here?) Battery-operated keychain strobe light.

Neo-Glo keychain LED light

Neo-Glo pocket strobe keychain light

Neo-Glo Flash-Wear crystal pendant. battery op, changes colors. Cute.

Yes, there are a few non-light-emitting items in the box as well...

Coleman Laser Level with hard plastic case. Niiiiiice! Even has a tripod mount!

Sunbeam Travel Ionizer

UB Kool Personal mini-cooler

and a whole bunch of "frame-a-lopes." - apparently a picture frame and envelope in one.

All in all an interesting package. I like the Laser Level a lot - was gonna go out and buy one any way. I didn't really need any more flashlights after all of those shake lights, but I'm sure they won't go to waste. The rest of the stuff is mostly stuff I would use only occassionally or will give to my neice and nephew as gifts. All in all, not a bad box. Thanks, ThingFling!

Evil or Very Mad

Dollar Store items are better than this junk. This was my last mystery bag. Even the junk didn't work.

I got exactly the same and I can say that I'm quite happy. Very Happy

We can always use a level in the house (as a matter of fact we just needed one last week), having another flashlight is always good, especially living in hurricane alley, the kids will love the light up stuff, and the ionizer and UB Kool will come in handy at one time or another. The frame-a-lopes I could do without, but I just consider them filler.

Thanks Fling!!!!

I woke up and decided to check the UPS status on my order. UPS usually comes by my house in the late evening (6 or 7) and the status said DELIVERED. So I went to the porch and there was the box. It had all this in it:

All in all, not worth the $36, maybe $20 though.

Hope you don't mind, I didn't feel like typing it all up and you did it soo nicely.. Wink
I only order 1 MB, and here's what I got.

UB Kool - The permanent Ice Cube
I thought this was cool.. Going to let my mom use it since she always complains that it's cold where ever we go.. LOL

Pocket Strobe Keychain
It's ok.. I like that it included extra batteries..

Neo Glo - Flash Wear Multi Colored Crystal Pendant
My daughter was it and loved it!
But I did notice on the package it said it included 3 extra batteries, but didn't see extras with it..

1 package of Frame-a-lopes, New York
I only send pictures through e-mail.. O well, might send to some friends in the UK to see New York on it.. Bad Grin

I got what everyone else got
Mystery bag#1
1 UB Kool- could be useful since i'm always outside during the weekends
1 NYC frame-a-loop.....came in 3 a pack
1 NeoGlo Pocket Strobe light-my niece would like this
1 NeoGlo Crystal pendent-probaly for my niece again...

Mystery bag#2
1 Travel ionizer-would be useful since i have tons of cloths or i could but it in the laundry room with all the shoes...still deciding
1 NeoGlo whitelight keychain-i suppose it could be useful when schools starts again with the night classes
1 NeoGlo Green wand-the try me button isn't working but i haven't put in the batteries that came with it.
1 Balloon frame-a-loop.. 1 a pack

I'm okay with the bags.. it did have 2 electronics in it..and the neoglo could be call 'electronics' if you stick with the defination but the frame-a-loops aren't too useful nor are they electrons.
Flung:
1 Manic Monday bag- $3.99
2 MB IV - $11.99
1 No Mystery box - $40.00
Total: $67.97 (4 items)

C'mon, dude, don't you have any settings other than profane?

It's getting old. You're unhappy. We get it. Just because you're sitting behind The Internet doesn't mean you need to be abusive and rude.

Try some language that an actual person in an actual conversation would use and someone might take you more seriously.
