 I see I'm not the only person with MS to try these. If they work I'll forget all about that 999 mb fiasco. I just got in on the super glue sale too. What on earth am I going to do with all that glue? Perhaps if the stickup doesn't hold on all those cell phone lights . . .

So my dad was trying to convince me that the little bead things on the insides of these things are also used in potting soil to help you not have to water houseplants as much. I'm going to give it a try, but I'm a bit afraid that it might kill the plant. r Lemon Curry?

I was trying to decide how many sets of these to fling (have a $5 coupon expiring soon, and I'd like to try these ... hate the heat). To help the decision I did some searching for prices (in case I want to try selling them), and came across this: http://www.deerso.com/Cool-Downz-P48388C0.aspx
Pretty certain it's the same brand (pictures are the same). They claim to be offering a 24 pack for $4.99 + shipping (variable ~$7-$10). I'm guessing that's a mistake, but I could be wrong. The shipping is a bit more expensive. They're in Florida shipping UPS Ground, and I'm in California. With 1-4 ordered, the shipping was ~$10 to a residential address or ~$7 to a business address. If I up the quantity to 48 the shipping only increases to ~$12 res or ~$9 business. I gotta think shipping 48 boxes of 24 each would cost more than that. I would call to ask them if it's a mistake, but they're closed right now (9am-5pm Eastern). Not sure if I'll be awake to call tomorrow and then Fling assuming it's a mistake and it's actually ~1-6 of them for $4.99. --havspace --edit: As someone else pointed out (by calling deerso), they were actually selling them for $4.99 EACH (not per 24), and just had a mistake in the item description. I emailed asking them about it, and they have since corrected the website. Now I wish I would've flung for 2 or 3 sets rather than just 1 .

Just flung 3 more to donate to my MS support group. These are already helping when I have to go out anywhere. My AC in my van doesn't work and these are a blessing  . I couldn't ffind anything out about the company either. SiteAdvisor has never heard of them (probably because the domain was registered only 5 months ago) and the address the site is registered to has many other businesses listed there as well. Map showed a small shopping center and the address on file with Amazon seems to be a warehouse. *shrug* I'm guessing small business now with an internet presence... I can confirm what wopaul found by calling deerso.com on the phone ... they were selling Cool Downz at 1 for $4.99+shipping and just had a mistake in the description saying it was for 24. They've corrected the website as well now. They did respond quickly to my email though, so that was nice. Just wish I had flung for more than 1 set from here now . Oh well, I imagine they'll be back on again at some point (hint hint

i finnaly gave in a got them. i sing in the chorus at Seattle Opera and the women of the chorus are always complaining that its too hot in their costumes. i figured these would make their live a little cooler.
