Got one awhile back in a pack with a notebook combo lock. The battery is a cr2025 and mouse stores in the PCMCIA slot for easy carrying, but you'll need to find a spot to keep the USB dongle. The mouse functions are the basic up, down, left, right, left click, right click, and pgup pgdn functions. It is somewhat difficult to use if you need to click on several different things but seems ok for just one or two click jobs. It does a much better job as a presenter for PowerPoint slides and the laser pointer is nice and bright for emphasizing things.
A big downside with this for me is that it needs direct line of sight between receiver and mouse, as in aimed at it like a remote because it uses IR. The USB receiver has a blue status LED that comes on whenever a button is pressed, pretty annoying IMO.

Yep, I'd have bought two at a time if I could, but stuck with one because of that. Too bad the profit from shipping is becoming so much a part of the new business model.

Yeah, I remember everyone talking about how Woot sucked hard because they charged $5 shipping... and now the Royal Court has to go and charge $6.
I just don't want to spend $12 on two of these... they don't quite seem worth that much, since they're line-of-sight wireless. If they were $2 apiece and shipping was still $6, I'd probably still buy 2 or 3...

Thanks for the information. The blinking blue status light sounds like a job for a small piece of electrical tape to block it out. That is what I want to do do to all those extremely annoying bluetooth ear piece blue lights. The ear piece lights are especially annoying and weird because the person wearing it can't see it! It seems only to be there to annoy others and tell them how important the wearer is. It is especially bothersome in a movie or a lecture. Everyone should carry a roll of electrical to cover all those bluetooth lights.

Except that this ISN'T BlueTooth.
Or else it would have the BT logo, wudnit?
For Bluetooth get the Bluetake Bluetooth Presenter.
I have one.
The top lam sheet fell off,
but otherwise it works fairly well.

Has anyone tried multiple orders?

I figure, as in my earlier post, getting three orders of one each and using 3x333 coupons, you could have 3 of these for $2.98.
The list was getting too long to continue to provide details: 25 flings flung - 14 of them mysteries - $477.69 total damage

I think that would interfere with the IR transmission, just depends on where the LED is located in relation to the sensor.

I must agree. Have you also noticed the excessive use of shredded dinner receipts used as packaging? Dang it, The kids make such a mess, The one tries to eat the paper.

I was actually eyeing the Mogo bluetooth mouse, which also stores in your PCMCIA slot, but it's more expensive. I have an older laptop, with the full size slot, and no built-in bluetooth capability. So, either way, I'd have to plug in a transmitter, whether it be for this, or for the bluetooth. I wish I knew more about the quality of IConcepts. If I could buy 3 at this price, I'd definitely get it, but without knowing more about it/them, I'm skeptical.

Got mine today (along with a couple of 'We owe you one' extras in my box...a ratcheting screwdriver/socket wrench set with the 'Citi' logo...didn't have to even sign up for a credit card to get!...and some 30A fuses...wish I knew what the heck they're for!).

It's a decent little presenter, very basic laser (aficionados would laugh at it's dispersal and pattern, but it's cohesive enough for any presentation size I'll ever be giving), and all the buttons seem to work. I have to laugh at their design decision, as noted, to not have the USB dongle attach to the card in some way.

Nice compact little unit that will serve perfectly for its intended use of streaming Netflix movies...I was looking for an IR remote control to hook up to my computer, and it works perfectly for that!

I have one already and they work well. Not a very long range.. about 6-8 feet, but it'll work great for presentations from my laptop. I flung 3 more to give to other coworkers.
