I truly think it was just a mess up. Let's just let them move on.

Well written and agree, JohnChod. And in my first post about it vanishing, I DID admit that it might have sold out. If I didn't just get my CENSORED mystery box, I might have been more tempted, even at the higher price.

You're right. You did say that it could have sold out. There was another post stating "pulled" (and maybe more than one), so it was just a general comment regarding the possibility of it being "pulled." It wasn't necessarily addressing just your post. Sorry if it seemed that way.
The list was getting too long to continue to provide details: 25 flings flung - 14 of them mysteries - $477.69 total damage

No offense taken JohnChod! Just appreciated your eloquence at summing up the situation and reflecting my thoughts. Of course, we always tend to like it when someone agrees with us Very Happy

I love your optimism, you make help make these forums a great place!

I hope it really was just a mix-up, TF is going to be under alot of watchful eyes for the next few weeks. Especially with lower priced items, the $6 shipping will seem high.

Personally I would just like to see some proof of these much lower prices to come.

No doubt I will prolly still be buying from TF!

Will these be back up?! I was processing payment thru paypal, and as soon as I hit reveiw payment, it went back to home page with the next item. d'oh! .... my husband is always losing the remote and will spend an hour looking for it before turning it on manually! Eh?

Weird - same thing happened to me. Was in Paypal and pressed continue and poof, on the the next item. Really wanted this for my mother-in-law. Always losing her remote...

If you really want one, Tanga.com has (I believe) the same remote on now (11:24 central).

Yesterday, Tanga.com was selling the infrared thermometers once Sellout.Woot sold out of them. Either Tanga, TF, and Woot are buying from the same folks, or they're making money by buying other DoD products and reselling them at a higher price Smile

And a higher price - $26.99 plus $5.99.

See, I told you that even at $13.99 plus $6 TF was still a pretty good deal!

I guess I should have gone ahead and pulled the trigger on one or two.

It's just the memory of the old, cheaper price that is causing us so much consternation!

Darn, missed out. Hope these weren't the last!
The excruciating magnitude of your philosophical confabulations are simply too voluminous for the diminuity of my comprehension.

HOW TO ADJUST THE SENSATIVITY OF THE REMOTE

Page 38 of the booklet "Setting the tilt switch"

How to disable the tilt switch so it won't turn on unless you press a button

1. Press and Hold the P button until the bottom IR segment flashes twice

2. Press below other buttton once.

3. Using number keys press 985, the bottom ir sgemnet flashes twice.

4. Exit by presing the button that looks like a home.

I believe repeating this will turn it back on. once you get your remote just look on page 38!

Hope this helps a lot of you who were asking.
Well I justr used that little trick now I am in bussiness, thanx (If you ever read this thread againApplause
