I ordered the Altec Lansing im7 speakers and they haven't even shipped yet, and it's been more than 7 days!

Doesn't everyone have this complaint?

THINGFLING, Don't you realize that if you have everything set up and organized it's not that hard to keep your customers happy?!

I ran an amazon business for 6 months and I was selling 40-50 items a day. I'm an 18 year old college student and even with my heavy workload I was able to ship pack and ship things every 2 days! TRUST ME, IT'S NOT THAT HARD...

No matter how annoying I may sound... I'm just trying to help out
24 flings, 57 if you count each order as one...

Good luck trying to get any deal of the day type of site to deliver your stuff within 1 week of the order date. Something else to think about is TF offers FREE shipping!! They don't have a huge crew, which helps keep the prices lower than other sites.

Shipping has really improved here and just last week they even switched to a much better shipping company. There was a little delay while they switched their software from dhl's to ups's. You should have your orders within a week to two weeks. That is how long mine have been taking lately.

Ive had other deal of the day sites ship my stuff within 2 days. Only once did I have to wait over a week. I love TF and the free shipping but there is a fairly easy way to fix this. Dont sell so many items. First thing first, they charge your credit card before it even ships! If you cant handle the volume of sales, lower the amount the sales until you can afford to do higher volume. Its really not that hard.

They have! They have been running items for much longer than they used to and running less of a variety. They are starting to get back to shorter times and more items now, which I like. Over the last few weeks they have been doing some major upgrades. They totally redid the site and they switched to UPS. Now as they are getting all the bugs worked out they can put more focus back on the shipping department.

a few dod sites I use, only do the initial CC check to make sure they can charge your account, but the real charge doesnt happen until its shipped.

I know TF has improved things but still. If they cant ship out X amount of orders in a week, they shouldnt take all those orders.

Like my parents always say, who cares what everyone else is doing? ThingFling has stood out with it's amazing prices and friendly customer srevice on their forums. However, customers have one more thing that they value, FAST DELIVERY! With this last thing THINGFLING WOULD HAVE IT ALL! As I mentioned before, if I myself can handle 48 orders a day on top of a tough college workload, thingfling with a crew of 10 people should be able to handle 500 orders a day or more throughout a full day of work!

Honestly, I wish I had the money to buy this website and take over...

Oh I love TF . Love the products, love the prices, and love the free shipping. Just because they offer that doesnt mean they should take weeks to ship things out. They offer those products, prices, free shipping to make their site stick out from the rest. Why do they even have a help desk since it seems that the queen fixes things through the forums?

Also, Ive never had a problem with TF order.

IMO I'd rather have to wait a few more days than pay $5 for shipping Smile

Fine, agreed. But when you say "a few more days" I understand 3-5 days at most, but not 10-15 days!

Right but if the shipping cost 5 bucks, then the product would then cost you 5 dollars less to buy....you know what I mean?

I think they only ship stuff out once a week, cause my past 3 orders have shipped on monday, even though i fling them on the wed, thurs before. So I am not so sure they are trying to send things out 7 days a week

They ship my things out on all different days.
I just got an order in one week but then I have something that was ordered 2 weeks before that and I haven't gotten it yet.It is due tomorrow which will make it 3 weeks. There are several things that I would have bought if the shipping wasn't so unpredictable. Honestly, how many things do you know you will need several weeks to months in advance? I see so many things for gifts but I can't count on them getting to me. I wonder how many others are like me and don't order because of the unknown ship date?
I do love the things that I have gotten though!!

I bought a knife for $11, it was ordered and got here in 2 days. Free shipping too. That was a good deal though. Now TF is consistently free shipping. I've never see otherwise, but I'd imagine if there was a 200lb item, that wouldn't be the case.

What bugs me is that I can't have my stuff shipped to an address other than my billing. That'd be the only change I'd like.

Just got back from Vacation so I am sorry I have missed some posts. Here is my view, in no particular order.

1) I am tring not to resolve issues in the forum. Unless it is something that applies to everyone, I think the helpdesk is better. We just need to respond quicker.

2) Almost all of our orders are shipped in 3 days. The usual exception is the "almost mystert box."

3) We expect that everyone will see a huge improvement in shipping as the new intergration with Ups is implemented this week.

4) I think, btw, that all oders, other then Ambs, should leave within 2 days. We are not there yet, but that is my goal.

5) Thanks for the feedback !!!

TF just hit strike 4 with me so screw this place. I too am jumping on the anti TF bandwagon over on SD.

4 flings and only 1 good experience. Rolling Eyes

I have just had it with TF the money saved is not worth the time spent keeping on top of them to make sure everything turns out right.
