I've sent 3 tickets to the help desk, and only received a response from the last one. I ordered a mobile USB FM radio in February. It was listed as shipped with the bulk of the items that I ordered on "Whacky Wednesday". It was not in the package, but there was a white form letter stating that it would be shipped seperately in a little while (I've gotten these on other items without any problem before...the items come a few days later and eveyone's happy). The radio is still listed as having been shipped in that shipment. I had sent a help desk ticket in about 2 days before the package arrived inquiring where it was. Package arrives, note says it's coming. I wait. It's still showing as shipped. I send another ticket and get no response. I wait. I send another ticket and the response I get it "Have you checked with the carrier?". I don't need to check with the carrier...I got a package that had 90% of my items in it...JUST NOT THE MOBILE USB FM RADIO. This is frustrating because it is an item that I waited and was nearly late for something in order to fling it. I doubt I will ever receive it at this point...I imagine the best outcome I can hope for at this point is a refund. Which considering the item was about 5 bucks is hardly worth the time and effort I have to expend to get it. I used to love Thingfling, but the problems with timely shipping and getting the items I ordered have made it lose a considerable amount of luster. I've stopped flinging entirely due to these problems.

I have made several flings from this site, and only one was an issue. I created helpdesk tickets, and never received any response other than the automated "we received your ticket" answer or the "check with the carrier" response. As sad as it is (since the rest of the site is awesome) the only way I got a response is to post it in the forums (like you did), or PM one of the moderators. Try "King Fling", "Queen Fling", or "Thing Fling". I have found that TF will make it right, you just need to be proactive about it. Good Luck from someone who had been in "almost" the same situation as you.

Good Luck from someone who had been in "almost" the same situation as you. I would say that their response to you was awful (and there have been others), but mine hasn't been bad. I have 37 flings, of which I had to make 3 tickets. 2 were resolved w/o delay. One I had to press them on later. The 2 that were resolved were out-of-stock issues (they shorted me, or so I thought) which they credited me promptly (in one case they did it before I opened the ticket), and the one was a missing accessory with an item. The accessory took awhile but they shipped it. I had to inquire twice about that one. They even through in a small tchotchke for the trouble...
