Same exact thing here. Already used mine but seems to have died after one run. Will check with Maxell today and see about going thru a local dealer to just exchange based on the warranty.

Confirmed, mine is dead. It seemed to sturggle on the polish at points then afterwards nothing. Thought it might have overheated and just had a safety shutoff until cool but alas, no. Will check with Maxell on swapping under warranty. Oh well, first bad item but still happy as long a Maxell stands behind their product.

I got mine yesterday, same as in the picture. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but maybe I should do it sooner vs. later... More than 70 Things Flung, and counting. (well, actually, I lost count a long time ago!)

I received mine on the 27th and it is exactly as everyone else has received. After reading the other posts, I suppose I'd better look for the discs I planned to use this on to be sure mine is fully functional. My fingers are crossed. . .

Just finished using mine - worked great!! Hopefully it will continue to do so. I received the same additional items as everyone else and am very happy! Once again - a great AMB from ThingFling! They rock!
