Don't start flaming, I simply want to know. I purchased 2 items on the 27th (1 week ago today).
I haven't received a shipping notification for either item yet. I am not impatient, but most other websites I would have already received the items.
I just want to know what I can expect as a standard shipping time. In other words, how long does it take from the day you click 'Fling me One' until the day it arrives at your door???

Typically within a couple of weeks. You should receive confirmation any day. You can also check the status in the 'My Account' tab from the main page.

My first purchase took 11 days before I got any confirmation. The confirmation came on the day it shipped, then it took about 3 more days to arrive. So, ThingFling seems to have a very slow 2 week process at the least, between ordering the product and the item arriving at your door.
This is something the company needs to improve.

When they offer free shipping it doesn't seem right that they should have to rush it to you. 1.5-3 weeks seems to be the average.

I agree, but to clarify a bit more I think the lack of any confirmation or estimated ship dates are the real problem. At least when I order on Amazon with free shipping, I IMMEDIATELY get an email confirmation saying that my order is complete with potential ship dates. With ThingFling you don't get a confirmation email until the item ships. You are basically left guessing for a week or two that your order went though correctly.

We need to get to the point that all shipments leave within 3 bussiness days. We are not ther yet, but hope to be shortly. Thanks for the post.

I did get an email confirm immediately, I know the other guy said he didn't, but he should. It doesn't have an estimated ship date though which like he said would be nice. I don't even really care about the shipping times all that much, I just want to know what to expect. The high gain Linksys antennas I bought last week, and that haven't been shipped, are being sold at buy.com (AR) for $24 with free shipping now, they would arrive in about 5 days from purchase. I would like to say I like this site, and if the 2 items I purchased arrive as promised in less than 3 weeks ( I also bought 48 2850 mah monster AA's), I will continue using the site because there are cool things being offered and your prices are low! I will just be prepared for when it arrives is all.

Hi all.
First let me say that I like this site, the products offered, and the prices. I am also very happy with the AMBs that I have received.
I have been getting email confirmations since they have upgraded the system, both order confirmations and shipping notices.
However, the shipping seems to have gotten worse. For the first few items that I ordered, the orders were "printed" about a week after ordering, and shipped within one or two day after that. I currently have several orders from 2/21 that were printed on 3/1 and still have not shipped.
Also, the time it takes to get a reply from the helpdesk is unacceptable. I opened a ticket on 2/27 about a partial order I received, and finally got a reply on 3/5. By that time, I had received a shipping notice about the order. I have yet to receive that package, which was sent "Priority Mail Flat Rate Box" on 3/1, and since USPS does not update their shipping info until the package is delivered, I can't confirm whether the shipment went out or not.
Again, I like this site and the products I have received, and will probably continue to order from them. Unfortunately, the shipping and customer service are getting worse, not better.

I'm sorry I didn't mean that it took them 1.5 - 3 weeks to ship. I meant that it takes around that long for some people to get their stuff. For me down in Florida it takes 1 1/2 weeks after I ordered to receive.

I wish I could edit my posts (hint to moderator). I did get a confirmation notice immediately after I placed an order. I appologise for posting that I didn't in the posts above. Sorry for the mis-information.

I've placed an order for 2 BT headset on 2/28 but still have not recieve a shipping confirmation. I'd paid a lil more through some other Vendor if I could have predicted the the lag in shipment.

Kimmer: Did you get a shipping email on that order? I thought the emails were automatic, but the account info had to be done manually, and, therefore, was sometimes not current. I have a couple of orders from 2/21 that also have said "Printed" for a week.

But that one is still marked new.

As of yesterday 3-8-07 I received one shipping notification and my account says both items are 'printed' so it's moving along now!
