I placed 2 orders on 1/23/07 then the wait began like many other customers for this site. On 2/5 I emailed Thingfling to ask what was going on with my orders. On 2/6 I got a reply from Thingfling that my orders would be shipped out sometime by week's end.

Fast forward a couple weeks and I still haven't received anything. I search through my emails and discover a random DHL email containing a tracking # from someone named TCG / Raphael Santos. Apparently this is Thingfling...the tracking info says my package was delivered on 2/13 (left on doorstep) but I never received anything.

So I email Thingfling on 2/20 to let them know I never received my order and what can be done at this point. Then I email again on 2/25 as I don't get any response. Finally, this morning I receive an email to my original question again (When will my order ship?) and a second email saying:

*****
Dear Kelly,
Thank you for your email!
Please contact the carrier and tell them you want
to file a claim of non-delivery. The give them the tracking info.
If you require additional assistance, please let us know.
Sincerely,
THINGFLING.COM

So basically it sounds like they're leaving me out to dry instead of actually caring about these orders that I still have seen no sign of.
I'm pretty disappointed in this response as it's been over a month since I ordered and now I'm being told to go deal with this on my own.
Shouldn't the seller be questioning DHL about non-delivery and not putting full responsibility on their customers?? I've called DHL and
they're contacting the driver to see where exactly he would have left it, as if he'll remember this package from over 2 weeks ago.

DHL called back and said that a "trainee" was working our route that day, is no longer with DHL, and they're unable to confirm the delivery due to that reason. Now DHL said I'm supposed to file a claim with the shipper (Thingfling) which is what I tried to do to start with. I guess I get to wait another 7-10 days to hear back from Thingfling again about this. This is ridiculous.

Have you checked DHL's website to file a claim? It seems this is a pretty common issue with them. The report should be filed through DHL (regardless of what DHL says!) because it is THEIR FAULT!! Perhaps an email through DHL's website customer service would assist you with this situation.

Wonder if its ok to assume that this "trainee" turned into a "theftee"......and this is why they are no longer with DHLWhistle

Makes sense that you would file a claim with thingfling. Because then thingfling will in turn file a claim with DHL.

If at first you don't succeed.......don't attempt skydiving

Never argue with the ignorant.......they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
