if you set your CC up in paypal, you can make an alternate address there, get it confirmed, and just pay through paypal here.

I am pretty sure my home is confirmed, when i went into profile it showed my home address with "Home" by it, and my p.o. box with a "confirmed?"

I would tend to bet that the number of sites that will ship to a p.o. box is a fairly small number. Do a little research before you jump to a stupid unfair conclusion.

People say ThingFling is crap because they have a bunch of illegal immigrants working for them who can't even read the orders so they only give you 1/5 of what you ordered. ThingFling also has slow shipping.

Thats what the reviews on the forums say. Otherwise a scam site like this will get ya. After all there is tons of posts on this forum of people who are still waiting for their order like 20 days later and ThingFling is ignoring the fact that they didn't send your whole order. Therefore stealing your money .

I'm sure there's a reason that fruper has made you a mod and I'm sure that it wasn't because of your charm, so the following may not be relevant whatsoever.
I understand that you're still young (unless you're actually old and still live with your parents? But, I'll assume otherwise) so I don't blame you for not understanding the consequences of your actions. See, everything you say, whether it's before you were a mod or after reflects on the type of person you are and the type of website that Fruper is. So, if you handle yourself positively, it reflects well on the site that you are a mod of. If you are negative, the same will happen. I'll give you an example. Thingoffling has posted on several harsh comments and stayed positive and didn't insult anyone in the process even when the people in question said some very rude or degrading things. This is how customer support is supposed to act. Then there's you. If you say something like, shut up you're a dipshit, not only will the people who you just insulted not want to deal with you or the website that you represent, but it will also make anyone who sees that comment think the same way.

OK, so you say that what you said is before you were a mod. So I'm all for people who want to change for the better. But, now you go onto a different site (this one) and start insulting the people here. Regardless of whether you are on the site you are representing or not you still must show some dignity, especially when it is already known that you represent Fruper. I'll give you an example of that too. At a job I worked at, we had someone getting fired because she went from work to some strip joint and started stripping (Like some amateur thing, not as a side job). She still had her uniform, so she represented the company badly. Oopsie.

Either way, I'll be sending Fruper's customer support links to this thread as well as the fruper thread to complain. Will it matter? Eh, I have a feeling you became a mod because you're buddy buddy with someone in the company. So, I doubt it.

PS, I haven't had my coffee yet (and its 10:30 ack) and I didn't bother to reread what I just wrote to check if it even made sense, but hopefully it does.

Time for me to get involved. I have made the decision to only ship to billing addresses. It is my choice in order to prevent fraud and thereby help keep prices to our customers down. When and if there is a safe way for us to change this policy I will. Until then I apologize for the inconvenience.


As for the "much dissatisfaction" that you mentioned, how about the thousands of happy purchasers that we have ??? I cannot be sure, but of all the sites that you mentioned, I believe we are the only ones not editing our forums. Makes you wonder doesn't it ?

Btw- You may insult me or my site, but anymore disparaging comments about my customers and\or the general population or some group in general, and I will remove you and your comments from this forum.

Please feel free to help Fruper (and any other site you chose) by talking about them in my forum. You obviously are realizing how much traffic we are getting, or you would not bother posting here.

Since we, unlike every other site, offer free shipping,we get to chose the shipping company. Only the post office will deliver to po boxes !!!


So the choice is the customer's. Free shipping to a non po box billing address or pay shipping charges on another site. I think our success (in spite of our missteps) speaks clearly about what our customers want.

I agree it does not work for everyone, but for many it does !!!!
