Hi, a little while ago i ordered a mystery box, in it came a broken inverter. flingthing said he would send me a replacement, that was 6 weeks ago. Since then I have been repeatedly emailing him every week or so, and he replies saying things like

"oh i think i already shipped it"
or
"i PROMISE i will get a response to you by tomorrow"

this is terrible customer service, it seems he has no intention of replacing my product, and lied about it! I suppose also he will delete this post, just like he deleted my original forum post.

anyways, be warned, if you receive a defective item, do not expect it to be replaced.

I can't speak for a defective item, but for a few items I had missing, I received a credit for one that was OOO and a promise of shipment by the following day for the second. I received notice of the credit for the OOS item the same day as well as a notiice of shipment of something (I think it may be the othe missing item but could be another existing order). Both a day early!

Did you try using the helpdesk? I know it's been a while, but might be worth your patience...

Being that it is not in their best interest to screw customers, I doubt they have no intentions of fixing the issue. Doubt If you were assigned a ticket number, I'm sure your patience will pay off. Being rude and namecalling isn't gonna help much. I had an issue with 2 orders not too long ago. I went through the helpdesk and had a reasonable resolution within a week.

Be sure to include your case number with all further communications with them. so...

I'm sure they aren't ignoring your emails, just busy... busy busy busy. The number of complaints whether it be wrong quantity or DHL messing up, seems to grow exponentially daily. So, I'm sure they are just overwhelmed right now and playing catch up. I agree with Imarascal, that being patient will pay off. I mean, hey, I've been waiting over a month for my item. Yes, I'm upset, but I still love ThingFling because it was my first purchase and I'm sure that I'm learning as well as ThingFling. So just be patient.

There seem to be so many outstanding issues and items that have not shipped yet, that they really should just shut down the site for a day and fix all of these screwups. I'm still waiting to receive the missing items from my orders. I know in the end they are gonna do the right thing, but I have had several friends complain to me after I had recommended the site to them. Not good PR king.
