The emails and the status updates is something TF has always had issues with. They have had emails working for short periods of time a couple of times, but it never lasts long. Status updates have been much better than a few months ago but sometimes they still have issues with that also. Like you were told by someone else, don't worry too much about it. TF will get your stuff to you shortly. I have bought TONS of things from here and since the switch from DHL to UPS, I have always gotten my items in a reasonable amount of time.


A simple post in the forums by them could really clear a lot of things up.

There was a delay with a few orders from the last batch of the Holiday Mystery Box and we do apologize for that, if you have any concerns about the delay please contact our helpdesk and we'll try to make it right. All Holiday Mystery boxes are ready, packed and shipped but there’s a few that are still waiting to be picked up by UPS.

We are aware of the problems with email confirmations and this is actually on our Developers Team "to fix" list, we think that we finally figured out what the problem is and we should have a fix for this within a month or so.

Our developers have been working hard on improving a lot of things on the back-end of the site so we can keep getting better and better as we grow, most of these new features are invisible on the customer end but they are essential for the continuous improvement of our services.

Please bear with us during these growing pains; we read almost all comments on the forum (the good and the bad ones) and even though we can't reply to each one, we want you to know that we do take note of all of them. Your suggestions, comments and feedback are always welcome!

Keep in mind that we have just recently completed our first year anniversary and there's a long way ahead of us to get where we are going. We are constantly making changes to the website and will keep improving.

TF crew - I have gotten emails twice this week saying you have shipped my packages. However, both of those have already been delivered. One was delivered about 2 weeks ago and the other was delivered on Tues.

Also, in the shipping notification emails there are links to track the package on either the post office's or DHL's website. DHL was (thankfully) replaced by UPS a long time ago.

I too have not recieved any emails since signing up. Only have bought one item, and I can check it's status to see that it has shipped, but it would be nice to have an email confirmation for purchases and shipping notices. That might just be enough of a flaw to keep me away until it's fixed.

We are aware of a few bugs with the current notification system that is in place right now.Embarassed
We are working on a complete solution for all our notifications system, we hope to have it completed within the next month or so Anxious . We know how much this is important and we are doing our best to fix all the loose ends. Don't hesitate to report any thing you see out of place, if its not on our list to do, it will be!

I purchased the Mystery Item on 02/14, but have not received any notifications. I've been charged for the order, but do not know its status beyond "Printed" (what does that mean?).

many people dont get emails..no one knows why.. Printed just means your order is going to ship very soon... read the FAQ, itll answer a lot of your questions

Hello all FellowFlingers, wanted to report I received my sign-up email. I made my virgin purchase on the 8th of this month for the binder sheets. I did not receive the order confirmation email though. I have already mentioned this in a help desk support request, so no action is needed there. I was just browsing these threads getting a "feel" of thingfling forums. You requested info post of no mail be posted here, i just did Razz

I'm full of ideas as you can tell Smile My mind is always at work. How about ordering some ThingFling branded stress balls, and sell em as ThingFling shipping balls. I bet they would sell Smile
