I just received an e-mail (two, actually) on the Halloween promotion, but have not received any e-mails on the two flings I made recently -- one on 10/26 and one on 10/29. Both say "printed" on the My Account page, but I never received any other e-mails regarding these orders.

Same here, however I have three orders of different dates.

shipping emails are probably coming from endicia or ups that have reply-to addresses to TF. Their newsletter emails are coming from a 3rd party as well.


You're absolutely right, shipping emails do come from Endicia. That does not mean there is not an issue with TF emails. I am simply mentioning the situation so TF can troubleshot the problem and fix it. Shaggy stated in another thread that there IS/WAS a problem with TF emails, and there continues to be one with the helpdesk.

I just received an email from noreply@thingfling.com that my package had been shipped.

The mail had been "... generated by Endicia Internet Postage".

I've gotten one order conf in 11 flings and never a shipping conf. The only other email i've gotten is when they replaced one of my flings with a better product.

I ordered 2 things on Nov. 14th, I never recieved a confirmation email or anything until yesterday the 12th of dec. I recieved a "Your order has been shipped" yesterday the same day that my order was returned! Anyone else run into the same thing?? I spoke with someone else who went through the same exact thing and ThingFling told him to either pay 15.00 to have the order reshipped or to pay a 5.00 cancelation fee! Please dear god tell me thing fling isnt going to try and pull the same thing with me.

And here I thought I was the only one not getting shipping/confirmation emails. I have just resorted to logging into my account and checking especially since most times the package arrives the next day (since I live within 100 miles of thing fling headquarters).

Thanks for the response, you guys seem to be taking care of it. I'm sure you know but you really have to get the alternate address thing working. Freaked me out when I spoke with 2 people who seemed to go through the exact same thing. Apparently they didnt bother to question and just assumed that they were screwed over and gave up. Maybe theres just a glitch in your mail server for orders coming from Co. Anyways, looks like Thing Fling is on top of it.

I guess you are having MAJOR site problems. I was attempting to order the latest Mystery Box and kept getting an error after putting in my credt card info. The error said my order couldn't be processed. I finally gave up and later checked my account and there are THREE charges from Thing Fling. I've sent in a ticket about this. I do want one box but not three. I didn't receive any type of email confirmation on the orders either. I did get email confirmation of the ticket I sent in.

The link to the help desk isn't working either. It's Christmas and I need that $60 back to finish shopping. I sure hope there is some relief or at least a response coming.

I'm supposed to get confirmation emails? I think I haven't seen one yet out of 4 recent orders. Not in my bulk folder either. Thankfully, the 'My flings' shows me everything I want to know.

I never get any emails from ThingFling. It is usually my responsibility to randomly check the site to see when it has shipped.

I am getting disturbed about Mystery box week 3. Per the item description it states that they will be shipped on Jan 7th. Since I get no emails I watch the status in My Flings. Today is the 9th and my status still states printed.

When I questioned this in another forum here, I was told by a user that:
"it just may not have updated..."
"I wouldn't be too concerned...it has probably shipped"

So, how do I know? No email, no status update, nothing?

I used to regularly check the site to see what item was for sale. But now after continuously seeing printed, I will definitely be more cautious with future purchases.

I also submitted a ticket because the coupon code says invalid for me, but I have gotten no response. They have my money though....

Mystery Box #2 was delayed for a few days shipping. After a day or two, there was a message online about the box being delayed. They said UPS didn't come for an extra day or so to pick up the boxes. Maybe the same thing happened with #3

The emails and the status updates is something TF has always had issues with. They have had emails working for short periods of time a couple of times, but it never lasts long. Status updates have been much better than a few months ago but sometimes they still have issues with that also. Like you were told by someone else, don't worry too much about it. TF will get your stuff to you shortly. I have bought TONS of things from here and since the switch from DHL to UPS, I have always gotten my items in a reasonable amount of time.

A simple post in the forums by them could really clear a lot of things up.
