I ordered at least 9 items now and none of the shipping/order confirmation email go to my inbox. I added thingfling email address to my address book and still... no emails.
However, during my first two orders, the order went through and I kept on checking back to thingfling.com and was able to get the tracking numbers through the My Orders link.
I think you guys should check up on this...

Emails haven't been working for several months now. All orders do show up in the "My Flings" section.

1. Difficulty logging in last night.
2. Unable to make AMB purchase even after logging in. This notwithstanding the fact that my efforts were right after the offering began.
3. No answer to my email asking that my failed order be processed.

Usually I don't get an e-mail for my orders. I just go based on what it says under the my flings tab. I've received many things that I never got an e-mail for. Personally, I see it as one less e-mail I have to look at. Also, if it says printed in the my flings area, it usually has been shipped.

went to submit a ticket at helpdesk.... wouldnt retrieve it either.
i get this when giving my email address:
"There was a problem sending your tickets."

i paid with paypal and this is not in "my flings"

All the software on this site, virtually every page is the FU mess I've ever seen. Hard to use doesn't work most of the time. Onlt thing that seemed to work OK was the signup for account.

Sometimes takes your order...sometimes not. No way of telling until you don't receive your order.

Never receive confirmation emails. Brick wall Sad

How much more business could these people do if they get rid of this
lousy setup and geet something that works.

It now looks like I am getting shipping emails, but not order confirmation emails. Also, I am getting no emails from the help desk, either confirmation that I entered a ticket, or when I try to "Get Tickets". It says that an email has been sent (sometimes), but I receive nothing. Since I am getting the shipping confirmations, I know that TF has my correct address, and it is getting through the spam filters.

The ONLY issue I have had on a regular basis is getting emails. Are you trying to order the $0.99 Mystery Item? If so, there are very few offered at a time, and most people have not been able to get in fast enough. You can find out if an order was successful by going to the "My Flings" (My Account) section. It will list all your orders and their status.

Im guessing its because thingfling has been blocked by Spamcop or SORBS and whatever your ISP (Im guessing you and many others have Comcast) is, they subscribe to those lists. Thingfling has to email those places to find out if thats true or not. Ive had it happen with other websites but it is something easily curable.

shipping emails are probably coming from endicia or ups that have reply-to addresses to TF. Their newsletter emails are coming from a 3rd party as well.
