Order: Dentek Breath Remedy & Oral Care Products (Year's Supply) - $30
Order Date: 1/28/2007 1:39:41 AM
Date Shipped: 02/07/2007 via DHL
Date Received: 02/13/2007

I got my order today and, my gosh, it was heavy just carrying it in and up the stairs. It came in a Philips accessory box. There were no shredded paper, air pillows, or crumpled kraft paper; nothing. I didn't really care because my items were all sealed dental products anyway. Nothing punctured or spilled all over the place. Smile

Here are some pictures. I hope they work:

Box it arrived in.

Picture when the flaps were first opened.

Picture of all the products

There was A LOT more than I thought I was purchasing! I am VERY happy and satisfied! Thank You Thing Fling!

Order: Furgle Screen Cleaner
Order Date: 02/11/2007
Date Shipped: 2/14/2007 via USPS First Class with Delivery Confirmation (Got tracking number in "My Account" and got email notifying it was shipped.)
Date Received: 02/21/2007

For future references (if TF ever offers these again), here are some pictures:

Package it came in.

Out of the bag. (It’s in one of those “This Bag is Not a Toy” bags.)

Front.

Back

These are great. I tested it out and cleaned the screen of my CRT monitor (did well), then I swiped clean my 10 year old tube TV (had to go over the screen twice). I personally don’t know if it’ll work for LCD screens, but on the card attached to the Furgle, it states: Not for use on plasma screens. It sure is adorable. I’m thinking of ordering more b/c I’ve been waiting two months for an item I wanted to get my friends for Christmas, but they’re still out of stock. These Furgles may be a great replacement. I mean, who can turn down a face like this

My purpose is not to make anyone jealous (sorry opalescent Wink), but to inform of ranges of order dates, shipping dates, and receival dates. Also to let other flingers see real-life pictures of the items being flung. If anyone needs more information on an item I’ve received, I’ll do all I can to help.

I received both my multipurpose sacks and Furgle yesterday as well (which means I've received all of my TF orders, yay!) I really like the sacks, I got them to sort out all the various cords and dongles that come with gadgets these days and it looks like they'll do that well.

The Furgle...well, I don't know whether to clean my screens or toss it to the cats--I think they'd enjoy the Furgle A LOT. Very Happy It did do a great job of cleaning my TV, it's no longer quite so pristine after taking off a year's worth of gunk...perhaps I'll spare its little Furgle life for a while. It is awfully cute.

Opening the box. The infamous New Jersey newspaper shredding used to keep my item from bouncing within the box.

In blister pack. I don’t remember if it was brand new or refurbished, but if it was a refurb., it looks immaculate; no flaws or signs of previous use.

In my opinion, this remote is okay. I’ve been only using it for one day, but it still feels awkward. I was able to connect it to my DVD Player and my TV, but have yet to try to connect it to other equipment, or use the “Learn” feature. I DO like the when the LCD screen lights up in the dark. Smile

No, not from the AMB. This was this remote, offered on Feb. 5th. It's also on the "upcoming flings", about 3 items after the current item.

Order: 3 Dynamo 5 LED Flashlights (Model: MS508)
Order Date: 02/19/2007
Date Shipped: 02/2?/2007 via USPS Priority Mail w/ Delivery Confirmation
Date Shipped: 03/06/2007 via USPS Priority Mail w/ Delivery Confirmation
Date Received: 03/01/2007 (received only one of three flashlights; mistake Anxious )
Date Received: 03/08/2007 (received the remaining two flashlights + 1 extra for the hassle. Thanks ThingFling. Wink)

For future references, here are some pictures.

Opening the package. Nestled within the New Jersey newspaper is my flashlight.

In its cardboard box.

The Dynamo Flashlight

03/08/2007:

Box it came in. Follow-up package to repair the mistakes from the first order.

Three new boxed Dynamo Flashlights.

In my opinion, these Dynamo flashlights are definitely worth the money; $10 shipped for three flashlights. I never need to replace any batteries either. You just pull the rip-cord for a short while and you’ve got some bright shining lights. Great for camping! Highly recommended item. Cool

Order: Wacky Wednesday Items: Centrios Lens Cleaning Pen & Southwestern Bell EZ-Hold
Order Date: 02/21/2007
Date Shipped: 03/05/2007 via USPS First Class w/ Delivery Confirmation
Date Received: 03/08/2007

The items.

The Centrio Pen was a bit bigger than I thought! Shock I was planning to use them on my digital cameras with the puny lens... it looks like it fits better with the big cameras (like the Canon S3 IS), but it's still okay with small lenses.

The Southwestern Bell EZ-Hold is not that great. It does do as it says it does (plays music while holding), but the music is like those old-style ringtones (not the polyphonic or the recent ones); the weak one-note songs. And there was only one song on the EZ-Hold.

Order: Monster Car Audio FM Transmitter (the one with the mini headphone jack; not the iPod FM transmitter with Charger)
Order Date: 03/12/2007
Date Shipped: 03/22/07 via USPS First Class (Had several problems. TF gave me the wrong tracking number and marked my account “shipped.” Then they accidentally sent me a wrong item, but a week later, I got my correct item.)
Date Received: 03/27/2007

For future references, here are some pictures:

Package it came in with the correct item. Funny how it still went through when TF sent it First Class in a Priority Mail box.

FM Transmitter.

For me, the FM Transmitter was horrible. It may be because I live about 1 hour from Sacramento, CA, so when I was using the FM Transmitter, it was so scratchy and bad. The good thing was when I was plugging the Car adapter plug part into the car’s 12-volt DC lighter socket, it didn’t fit, but I later found out that I had another lighter socket in that compartment under your right arm of the driver’s seat, and found that I have an AUX plug! I don’t know about other locations, but I hope others who get this item has better luck than I did and a better reception!!

Order: 48 Monster Alkaline 2850 mAh AA Batteries
Order Date: 03/17/2007
Date Shipped: 03/20/2007 via USPS Priority Mail w/ Delivery Confirmation
Date Received: 03/22/2007

Box it came in.

Picture of right when I open the box up. 6 packs of 8 AA Batteries.

Front of Pack.

Back of Pack. Note on top right, it says the expiration date is 2008.

First… I MUST note that I received this in FIVE days. Yes, 5 days. ThingFling, I am ecstatic! You guys are doing an awesome job! Keep it up! Applause

Popped a pair into some remotes and they still work. None arrived punctured or exploded. A great deal and these will come in handy with the Wiimotes.

Order: Speck Cable Guys – Headphone Splitter, RCA Connector (stereo to MP3 Player), and PC to MP3 connector; 3 piece set
Order Date: 03/19/2007
Date Shipped: 03/23/2007 via USPS First Class w/ Delivery Confirmation
Date Received: 03/26/2007 (received it in 7 days from purchase date!)

For future references, here are some pictures:

Package it came in. Filled with New Jersey newspaper.

Blister Pack Front and Back.

Headphone Splitter.

RCA connector.

Plug to connect PC to MP3 player/CD Player/Laptop, etc.

This set is GREAT. Nice deal. Got my MP3 plugged into my stereo to listen without having to use my PC to listen to music. And I found out (a non-techie here), that the plug that connects the MP3 to the PC works to plug my MP3 to my car’s AUX socket (where the FM transmitter failed to do well). I am very happy with this purchase! Two thumbs up! \Dancing

amazonshopper:

First, the distance from a city shouldn't matter for your reception since you are doing the transmitting from the unit you just bought. I am not familiar with unit you have, but see if you can change the frequency on your iPod transmitter and see if that helps. You may be getting some interference from a local station.

Second, which direction are you from Sacramento? I am also about 1 hour away, to the northeast.

Well, the FM Transmitter only allows me to have 8 different frequencies. I tried all eight and they are all equally not good. Before using the unit, I checked all eight stations and I was able to hear music or talking from each one. Just my luck. I should have researched before flinging for it, but oh, well. I'll just sell it or give it away.

Also, I'm an hour or so south of Sacramento.

8 seems like a good amount of choices. Of course, in the Valley, you're probably picking up stations from Stockton, Modesto, Tracy, Ceres, and all the little towns that have public info stations. Station signals travel a long way with nothing to stop them. I routinely listen to a Modesto station even when I am north of Sacramento.

The good thing about TF is that you didn't spend $59 to find out it doesn't work for you.
