I happen to have a window as part of my cubicle...granted it looking out at the sun just crushes the spirit knowing that the walls of the cube are getting ever smaller and suffocation is not far away...but then I think of the $0.13 and realize I can live with thatVery Happy

Time to let it go. And btw, even with our screw ups, the overwhelming number of orders were fine, and the responses have been very positive.

This is the last comment I will make on this thread. Clearly Guzikov does want to be made happy and there is nothing else I can do. I tried and failed.

For the rest of you,,,,,go back to work !!!!!

Since you seem to be referring to "our screw ups" I take it you have something to do with the site or company? And you make 1 comment in this post and won't make another, when the comment wasn't to help the original customer with his problem? How about answering the original question instead of the stupid flaming posts that help me none whatsoever. Whats going on with my order? It's been over 2 weeks of nothing, whereas you've had my money for 2 weeks. Why no response to my email?

And honestly, who the hell cares who's cubicle has what and who has better morals. The fact is, I am a customer to this site, I've attempted to receive information regarding an order I placed, and instead I get an argument over how many customers have complained and how many haven't. Yeah, you only see the bad comments and not the good. I don't care what others experiences are at this point, I only care that my first experience with ThingFling is a bad one, and thats all I need to know about them.

You know when an employee or representative of the company doesn't respond to a customers complaint, but instead to an argument incited by that complaint, that they don't care about the customer.

Yeah, thanks a lot for the help. I've been told to wait it out. I don't like that answer. "They haven't been able to answer email in 2 days" well I sent my email last WEEK. Not two days ago. I don't like to dispute charges on my card, but when the other party (being thingfling) obviously disregards a customers issue I'm not sure I'll have any other option.

I can't comment on any of the other part of your post since I don't work for TF. But, you did post to a public forum. Which means anyone can respond and post whatever they want. If you wanted a response only from TF and no one else, then you would open a ticket in the helpdesk. Otherwise, we are free to comment how we want.

And your absolutely right. But, you are posting on a company website. And by YOUR posts and your actions, you are reflecting negatively on the company. This is just one persons experience of course, but I'm sure that if perspective buyers come across this thread asking for help and see the bickering going on, they'll be less likely to purchase from this site. So, enjoy your public forum while it lasts, because the lack of help and the abundance of antagonistic and counterproductive posts will help in this companies downfall. So feel free to keep posting, II enjoyed the "screw you I'll do what I want" attitude.

I wasn't assuming Jonrad works for them, I was assuming FlingKing works for them as he refers to "Us and ours." I said nothing about Jonrad working for them. I think you assumed I was referring to Jonrad as working for ThingFling. And apparently you know what they say..

Also, it's actually been 3 weeks since I placed my order, I miss spoke in the previous post and am unable to edit so I let it go unless someone mentioned it, thus this post.

Wow, you can count! It's been 19 Days since I placed my order, on Friday it will be exactly 3 weeks. So, I wasn't 2 weeks, I wasn't 3 weeks, but I rounded to the nearest week being that it's 2 days away.

This is the only post on reseller ratings (until I post mine), and it's for the same item I ordered. He received his by the 1st of February! Why is 2 weeks later I'm trying to find where my order is. Oh, and still no reply to my email. Maybe they screwed up my order as well. I hope the guy in VA got his order straightened out.

I ordered 10 LED flashlights for $20 and got them very promptly. The weird thing was, I got two boxes, both addressed to me. However, the invoice inside one of the boxes was addressed to someone in VA while I live in NY. So I sent them an email offering to put it back in the mail. I got a quick reply saying they were looking into it and soon thereafter got another reply saying I could keep the package.

This site has some great deals and good customer service. I highly recommend it, although I'm not so sure I can say as much about the guy from VA....

i sure can.....so did you expect them to ship it that day? wouldn't a reasonable person maybe expect the order to be processed on the monday following? so its only 2 weeks in my mind... i rounded down.....damn rounding errors...

You are assuming again......

Just because this other person received the same item that you ordered doesn't mean that they ordered the item the same time or even the same day that you did. The 10 flashlight dealis one of thingfling's "rotational" deals. I ordered a set before Christmas. And received them shortly thereafter.

If you take a few moments and do some basic searches here on the forum you can quickly and easily see that the root of thingflings problems happened in the middle of January. They went from about 1700 forum members to almost 11,000 members in about two weeks. They weren't prepared for this HUGE of a growth spurt. It knocked the shipping department to thier knees. But they have spent about the past three weeks getting back up from this blow. They are doing everything they can do to get caught up as quickly as they can.

And now take a look at what mother nature has been tossing all over the upper east coast this week. That could throw the thingfling shipping for a whole another loop.
If at first you don't succeed.......don't attempt skydiving

Never argue with the ignorant.......they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

33 items flung so far

I like how on resellerrating you posted 'I posted in the forum and was told to sit it out.'
It was nice of you to make it seem like the TF staff told you to sit it out, as opposed to just another user.

A Wii? I wish.
When it comes to gaming consoles the companies set these rules where they regulate and lock in the prices. I know that from a long time ago reading EGM. Pretty good magazine. The darn things just don't go for wholesale Sad

Never said anything about wholesale, The places that actually make a pretty penny off of their random bags can afford to spring for 1 or 2 wii's. Have also seen people getting 360s in random bags.

I call your bluff, check the forums over there, Western Digital started woot, which means that they are able to hire employees and have departments like, Shipping & Recieving. Never have i heard of any shipping problems with them. Maybe someday fling will be able to afford such departments but it is going to be a long a slippery slope.

I love my job btw, i have fun everyday and basically get paid to surf the internet and occasionally fix computers for a very well known company. I really wouldn't mind being at this job for life, money is great, benefits are amazing, and i have a good time.

You're wrong on Woot not having shipping problems..look in the forum at the "Woot Warehouse: "Slow Woot For You." by Snapster" thread. My roomba took over 3 weeks to get..and then it was the old model. Still waiting on woot-off items, as are many people. Woot's customer service is horrible, not saying fling is the greatest, but comparitively speaking, they are great.
