Is it just me, or are allot of the recent products lame? A few of these things include the Sewage pump, pen, and all those collectors items. Another ill factor is that all these products keep rotating. I would much prefer to see all these things get sold at once than to keep having them pop up all the time. Sorry if a flame war ensues, I would just like to see an improvement in the products here (better stated, an iincrease in the frequency of products here).

Just taking it slow until next week in order to fix our shipping systems.

It seems your request is mutually exclusive. Either they change products more frequently (by cycling them) or they keep the same product up (a long time) until it sells out.

I know it seems that a sump pump may be a stupid item to a city dweller or someone without a basement, but if you have ever needed one you would know how important they can be. They are extremely expensive elsewhere.

Realistically, nobody is going to like every product that is listed. And on that note I'm kind of glad that I don't, my checkbook won't allow it d'oh!

Shipping a lot of one item is much easier. However, our model is too offer more variety, so we are just sort of "cheating" until the new shipping software is implemented.

THe items have been a little odd, but think of it this way.... TF is trying to reach a wider audience. Though some of the items you don't need, it may be an item another person may be looking for. Smile

It's also a good thing that they are slowing down. There has been quite a number of new Flingers and old flingers that are waiting for their order and it's been flooding the forums. TF is quickly trying to fulfill those orders and responding to emails/problems AND trying to update their site and shipping software/method all at once.

Let's just hope they'll be 99.99% done within the next week or two, because I've read that the items for a Wacky Wednesday are ready, but the timing just isn't! Go TF! You guys are awesome!
25 flings and counting!

Same here - with me though, it has been fixing up the house next door to use as a rental. It has cost me waaaayyyy more than I had planned so now a couple CC's are maxed out and I can't buy much from here even if I wanted too. I like how there hasn't been much new stuff to tempt me lately. However, as soon as I get it rented, I will be hoping to see the great variety again.

BTW - anybody looking to rent a 3 bedroom house in Wichita, KS?
Does your kids' school have a Circle of Friends? Circle of Friends is a social mentoring program based in schools pairing students with special needs with their regular education peers. It will change your kid's life in a positive way! Go to: www.buildingthecircle.org to learn more.

Gotta spend money to make money I guess...
Out of shear curiosity (although my company did just acquire some new buildings in the area), how much do houses go for in Kansas?

You can get a very nice and large house for well under $100,000 here if it isn't new construction. Most of the new houses in the new developments go from between $88k - $200k - usually it is over $100k though since most of them are being built with man made lakes in the development - that is the big thing right now. If you are still curious check out www.kansas.com - that is the Wichita Eagle newspaper's site.

It's not as boring as you think - Wichita has over 500,000 people here. According to some national survey I saw a year or so ago, the average commute time to work is only 17 minutes here.

No mountains in Kansas Sad
Can't feed my skiing addiction that way.
Hey King, when are you going to sell lift tickets? $50 a pop is getting ridiculous
