Well, the average trend lately, for most people, is about two to three weeks till you
receive the item (i don't know about the item leaving their facility); while some receive their item in a week. Depending on which method TF ships it to you (DHL Ground or USPS), you will get a tracking number via email from DHL on the estimated arrival date. No one has reported getting a tracking number or any indication when it is shipped via USPS.
Packaging: The last package I got (1.5 weeks ago and filled with smaller items), was packed w/ shredded paper. None of my items were delicate anyway, so this was not a problem for me. One person reported getting air pillows in their box protecting their item. But since your item is highly delicate, I'm sure TF will package it really well to prevent any damage. If you're only shipped one of the collectibles or if it's broken during shipping, just email them and they'll take care of you.
and the King himself DID say "Do not worry !!!!", so with that said, I don't think you should.
