If you look thru some posts around here you will find that there are very few (if any) folks who have received their 1/23 "Ten-Buck Tuesday" orders and there are quite a few folks who are still waiting for thier 1/17 "Wacky-Wednesday" orders and there are even a few who are waiting for orders placed as far back as the first week of Jan. But the again there has been a post or two of folks saying they have received orders that were placed after 1/23. So it appears that there is a chance you might get order in the next few days, or it could be a few weeks. I wouldn't even begin to have an inkling of worry till you get close to the three weeks or more area Mucho patience are the keywords here. If at first you don't succeed.......don't attempt skydiving

They went from about 1700 forum members to about 11,000 in just a few weeks. If you check and figure out the "order numbers" they had about 12,000+ orders in about two weeks, and this is just overall orders. It doesn't include "multiple item" orders. Go ahead and "think twice" before placing another order. This just means there will be more product available for us patient folks who understand what thingfling is going thru right now \ As previously suggested......take a few moments and read thru some posts here (and also at slickdeals) and you will quickly see that thingfling is doing everything they can do to get all orders out the door as quickly as they can. Be patient and you will be rewarded If at first you don't succeed.......don't attempt skydiving

Maybe you should just tell them to give up and never order again and then we don't have to fight for the good stuff. There were only 100 ambs this go around, who knows if there will be less next time? Think twice hwky, in fact, think three or four times. Hopefully by then I'll get my order in

when i order something from a company I should not have to check how much they are growing. I expect prompt delivery or they should state how long it will take for delievery.

(quote for shipping)....1/27 was a Saturday, so the earliest they could possibly ship would be the Monday 1/29. Do you think they came in Monday and said "oh my, hwky77 ordered and we know what an impatient person he is, let's get it out today"? Of course not. So give them a day or two to catch up and then get you in queue, and it's really only been about a week. I still have 3 orders from the wootoff on 1/30 that haven't shipped yet. Woot (the one everyone compares to) did not tell me when it will ship or might ship, the only notify when it ships and yet I am not over there in there forums bitching about it or sending them emails. I ordered something from Amazon and used "free super saver shipping". This order was placed on 1/29. They did not tell me when it will ship only when it shipped which was yesterday with expected arrival Monday. Have patience. Free shipping is just that...free. You will not get it next day. You get what you pay for! It will ship when it ships.

If there's a person complaining about a more recent order, should I be complaining too? Should I be pulling my hair out and wondering, "Whatever happened to my order?" Mine was placed 16 days before this complainer--buried in the piles of orders that Thingfling is overwhelmingly facing on a daily basis and the pile keeps piling up--getting ever so closer to Mt. Everest! If you do the math correctly, the date would be 01-11-2007. I also have two more on queue, respectively, 01-23-07 and 02-01-2007. An email was sent to support@thingfling.com on 01-29-07 inquiring about the order placed on 01-11-2007, but yet nobody have responded to that email. Just from my experience with selling, when you're jammed up with orders. It is completely impossible to even send an email out, let alone the panic from trying to catch up with all the orders. I've been there, done that. But it looks like their situation is a lot worse than mine. I was stuck packing a couple hundred items, but they were really small items compared to the items that TF is shipping out. If I was TF, I'd ship out the older orders before even concentrating on the newer ones. Two more days and my order will be a month old. In times of excess demand, "queuing" is one of the economic strategies that you can use to tackle such dilemmas. For those that don't know what "queuing" means, it's equivalent to saying, "First come, first served." It doesn't appear that TF is even using that method when orders placed after 01-11-2007 arrives before the order placed on 01-11-2007. There are other economic strategies that can be used to face excess demand. The two that I can think of right now are, "Favored customers" and "Ration coupons." I don't think TF is even issuing out any ration coupons, so it must be the other. You can only have so much patience in this life. In all honesty, I've waited long enough. I think somebody at TF should start showing signs that they care. Where is this King when we need him? Do we need to report you to Caesar? Hahaha! I'm pretty sure you're familiar with this piece of history and that history "sometimes" repeat itself. This flinger is no longer flinging. Good luck to all that stumbles across my name.

I am sorry for my lack of responses. I have been busy trying to make improvements to our shipping systems. There are no favored customers. For those of you that have been with us for a while see, we did not do a wacky promotion this week. We have the items, but want to fix the process first. As for some later orders going out first, they were mostly large quantities that ran for 24 hours and it eas easy for us to hire temps to labels those packages. No harm meant by it.
We just were able to run those orders "IN ADDITION TO" the previous orders. It was not one or the other.
It won't make anyone who has not gotten their order fell better, but if you look at the number of orders processed, the guys in the warehouse are doing a great job. It does need to get better though.
In order to help the situation, our help desk function should be fully operational by Monday or Tuesday next week. It will give you a "ticket number" that we can use to track your order and\or problem.
We really do thank everyone for their patience. It is going to get much better !!!

The growth of the user base is irrelevant... If they're selling these quantities of items they should have the capability to ship them in a timely manner, otherwise they shouldn't sell so many.

Well try looking at it this way it's a hell of a lot better than the Shnoop does things. At least here if you post in the forums you will get a response. You might not like it but it will be there. If what you ordered was that time critical you would have gone to a store to purchase rather than the cheapest price without shipping cost.If you want something ordered delivered in 2 days or less be an Amazon Prime member. If you think this is slow look at Woot Off orders.I've had 2 arrived 1 in shipping and 1 not even shipped yet from woot off. Even when they do ship I've had 4 orders leave on same day from them once and had 2 of them go to CA 1st before coming all the way back across to MD.
