Maybe... I just got an email notification from DHL, too. 13 lbs (my DENTEK! and hopefully they added my universal remote, as well).

Maybe those that received their item through USPS can chime in for their weights... so we can do some further observations.

I received my 10- 9 LED flashlights and my WW items via USPS. Boxes were only a lb or 2 each.

Good points all around. I'm not much for cussin' folks out but I do enjoy creative insults....

And I will definitely need to rinse my mouth out after dealing with these idiots.

I honestly doubt I will get my order intact. Especially if that same driver gets ahold of it, probably just for spite....

Sorry for the double post, but I wanted folks to hear what happened.

I got my dentek package..... from DHL.... eventually.

#1 I had to call DHL and tell them to send it on out. Remember, they marked my address area/apt building as a bad place to deliver because their driver is dumb. They agree to send it out instead of me driving 25 minutes there and 25 minutes back to pick it up, but only because I'm home.

#2 Door downstairs is unlocked and open.... wide open... PROPPED OPEN. As usual.

#3 Guy never shows. Online it says its been delivered. Bull. I call, and the DHL local place says the guy once again could NOT get inside due to the locked door.

#4 I go downstairs. Not only is the door wide open for anyone and anything to come in..... but a DHL notice is on the INSIDE OF THE DOOR!

NOW HE IS JUST BEING A #($*#&* BECAUSE HE PURPOSELY DID NOT DELIVERY IT, AND PUT IT ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR SO HE HAD TO WALK IN THE BUILDING TO BEGIN WITH!!!

The delivery person was obviously showing off that he didn't have to do anything he didn't feel like doing, including his job.

#5 I call DHL, and tell them what happened. They say thats not what the driver told them. I say I have the notice in my hand that was on the INSIDE of the door and explain that its impossible for him to have put it there without walking through the open doorway first.

#6 They say they'll send someone else out.

#7 It shows up at my door.... but I didn't know it. No knock, no anything. I had to call and ask where the guy was, and walked out my door and there it was in the hallway for anyone to take.

I am now raising cain with DHL, and sworn them as enemies.

DHL has never rang my doorbell either - it is always drop and run. UPS/ Post Office people always at least ring the bell.

A ring would be nice. At this house I don't really worry about somebody running off with a package that gets left, but at the last place I lived, it probably would have been gone before I knew it was there.
