Do these include the AC adapter?
The list was getting too long to continue to provide details: 34 flings flung - 18 of them mysteries

I got a bunch of these to use at lan parties and the audio is outstanding for a portable speaker system. They do however eat batteries incredibly fast. Also if you fail to switch the power off they will continue to draw power even w/ no audio going through them...duh...bad thing is I have ruined 2 of them due to the batteries leaking.

great audio...poor battery life

These look like great speakers but they require 6 AAA's and have a 6 hours or less battery life. So 12 AAA for both sets not very cost efficient and why no AC possibility... seems sorta backwards to me. If only they didn't just run off batteries, I guess you could go the rechargeable route but still way too $$$.

This item does not come with an AC adapter, the description was taken from the item online manual and we believe that that's how much power the unit takes (6 x AAA 1.5v = 9v).

We don't know if a power adapter is available for this unit but we know for sure that the item doesn't have the regular plug for ac adapters, the only thing we see is the battery compartment and nothing else.

Picked up these - they arrived yesterday. I must say, very very impressive sound from these little speakers!! I had read some reviews on amazon and other places so I was expecting them to be pretty good -- certainly more than worth the 9.99 price even for 1 pair. Also picked up 12 rechargeable AAA's (rayovac IC-3's) from another site for 11$ which makes this an outstanding deal.
