Perfect for all outdoor activities - Camping, biking, hiking, jogging, etc.

Camping, biking, jogging, hiking, swimming in a pool or in the ocean, chilling or doing a barbecue in the backyard... It does not matter the activity, we are always outside in the summer. Also with us are the insects, mosquitoes and all the life that the Summer brings. This weekend, actually, our crew is going to camping and all of us have an insect repeller so everybody can enjoy the time. Better than a lotion or sprays we got wristbands which give us long lasting, do not smell and it is easy to use. We got a 5 pack that ThingFling is selling right now for $1.50. Each wristband comes in a resealable container that prolongs its life time.

Seriously, you cannot find a deal like this. You can protect yourself and your family or friends with a simple and discrete insect repelling. It retails for $1.50 each one on Ebay plus shipping. At THINGFLING.COM you get a 5 pack or 5 wristbands for the same price, $1.50 and shipping and handling. Do not think twice. That is the time to get them!

Reviews on Amazon for similar products are mixed, but mostly positive. It depends on where you live. If you're in a woody area with a bunch of bugs, it won't have as much of an effect as, say, a "Deep Woods" spray repellent. But for casual outdoor use, it should be fine.

I went in for quantity two (10 total for $9), with the reviews being mostly favorable, it's worth trying. The system allows me to place another order of two, so that would be 4 sets (quantity 20) for $16... I didn't place the second order though, I'd hate to have 20 of these things if they suck. Of course if they work, I'll probably kick myself later.

I splurged for two sets myself. With a 3.5 yr old and almost 2 yr old, these will be great!! Especially with July 4th festivities coming up. Shoot, my hubby and I can wear them, too. I have bug spray but always hate spraying it on the little ones, so this is a GREAT inexpensive solution.

I tried ordering more sets (sets 5&6) the sets with the "free shipping" but it gives me a error, that I ordered the max. I don't see anywhere that says 4 max. And besides I ordered sets 4&5, thinking I would get 2 more sets at free shipping. WTF?

I ordered 2 (10 total) - for my girls ages 5 and 3. Hopefully these things work! If not, they are girls who will enjoy wearing the wristbands anyway. For the price... win win.

Tf sets two variables with every item-- Max quantity per order (in this case 2), and max quantity total (In this case 4). Rarely if ever are you ever allowed to order cheap items like this with the free shipping, because it cuts into their profit margins too much, obviously. And this system is setup in such a way to keep you having to pay more shipping if you want more, because obviously they subsidize the low price with their shipping "rates". The only exception to this rule is if you get free shipping early because you had already ordered a different item that day, in that case it does work out, I've done it a few times on occasion. I have even gotten their "free" items with free shipping that way before too. But rule of thumb, if the price is low, expect that you're pretty much always going to be TOTAL MAX just under the free shipping line.

I understand what you are saying, but there is a link on the top of the page that says "How do I get free shipping" It says to purchase 3 bundles. Guess what I tried and it doesn't work. False advertising if you ask me. NOWHERE on the stie does it say that that the purchase limit is 4 sets.

I am only telling you like it is, I have never been a fan of this shipping rate system when they switched to it. If another item comes up tonight before 12AM EST, yes you will get free shipping if you order it. The "How do I get free shipping?" box you are referring to also states that thingfling sets a max quantity on everything. I DO however think they should always publish the max quantities, but since they don't I always make a point to check the thread for if anyone else has posted it, and if not, if I discover it, I make sure to post it myself.

In for 2 sets of 2. Whew, just made it. I have a feeling these things will do the job just fine. I never used these before, but I keep thinking of those old fashioned kitty flea collars with all of the white powdery stuff. (Yuk, what were they thinking) I just hope they really don't smell. Can't beat the price. Thanks again ThingFling. Smile

Anybody get theirs for the holiday weekend? Mine still haven't shipped, but least there wasn't a bug problem last night. Sat out on the curb in front of my house, with my Lab puppy and watched the fireworks. Only live about 10 blocks from where they launch them down at the lake, pretty good view, fewer bugs, no traffic to deal with. Was pretty nice this year, not a lot of window shakers, and the dog didn't freak out even a little. He was a little bored though, could tell he wanted to play with the new neighbor across the street. Can't blame him, had similar thoughts about her myself, but think she's got a boy friend, maybe just helped move in...

Mosquitoes are pretty much year round here, just wish I had a chance to find out if these work. Guess 20 will last a while, probably come up again sometime.
