The Almost Mystery Box - The Return of the 5 Outlet Power Squid
The Saga continues....

Time for another ALMOST Mystery Box. For those of you who don't know, we call it an "Almost Mystery Box" because we guarantee you certain items in every box. This guarantee usually exceeds the value of what you are paying so you can then make an educated decision of whether you wish to proceed.

We have made some “total mystery boxes” and could go on and on with the mystery, but not everybody feels the same about the offer. The community has spoken and we have listened.

Our goal its to always give you more than what you are paying for and the best way for us to do so, is by giving you our original box, the ALMOST mystery one!! There is the comfort of getting a good deal on the product plus the excitement of the mystery.

The guaranteed item is a 5 adapter outlet, PowerSquid, SPP1591WA/17 with a 1080 joules of protection!  It is great to use around the house, office or garage. For those of you who don't know, the advantage of a power squid is its flexibility. A traditional surge or power strip as well, a strip. You lack the ability to manuever and you lose space with block adapters. Not so with the squid - you can fit 5 power blocks if you desire and it bends to make it easier to use. Get a great item, pay less for that and Play with mystery! We know, you love that!!

Guaranteed Item Highlights:

  • 5 flexible outlets
    • Five outlets on separate cords that are all adapter spaced accommodate multiple devices without crowding.
  • 40 dB EMI/RFI noise filtration
    • Built-in filtering technology ensures the best performance from your components. It guards against signal interference and loss of data. The higher the dB rating the better the noise reduction.
  • $150,000 equipment warranty
    • Protects your connected equipment for the life of the product.
  • Protection indicator light
    • This LED alert lights up to indicate the surge protector is working properly.
  • Power blocker
    • This automatic shutdown technology senses when the device has reached capacity and automatically shuts down electricity to your equipment. It protects against subsequent surges, even if you are not present

Remember, at Thing Fling it's not a deal ---------- It's a steal!!!

Upon the nature of those orders, ThingFling.com will not accept any return related to extra items sent.

Please, allow 7 business days shipping.

Always enjoy the mystery. I got the two pack last time, and put them to use same day, could have used another. Fortunately got a 6 outlet strip in the box as well, but three outlets are blocked by wall-warts (can't understand why they still make them that way).

so how many items does the box include this time besides the power outlet?
Are they all related to electronics?

Well the basic answer is NO to both Q's. There is no standard number as to how many items will be included; but they're close. So let's say they decide that everyone will receive six items besides the squid, well most will probably get six VERY similar items, but once they run out of similar toys - some may get four, six, or seven, so that everyone get 'equal' value. It's based on what they have in stock, as to who gets what.

While most items are electronic 'related', the items can be just about anything. Some can be electronic related, but not really electronic things, for example the "UB Kool" toy that was offered prior to this mystery box. Their have been various listing for garden/walkway lamps. So electronics, but not really electronics. After all, just about everything these days is technically electronics. Most TOYS and kitchen appliances today have more sophisticated electronics in them than the first space vehicles did.

If you want to get a better idea, look at the forum topics - search for those that have 'mystery' in the title, lots of folks have listed their 'catch of the day' in the 'mystery' forums. You'll see examples how some folks got identical, mostly identical. sort of similar, or....

HTH,

a.

Like ammatos said, it's various other things. My first mystery box had fold-up speakers for iPod (which I don't have) along with some battery powered travel clocks, a few miscellaneous odds and ends, and a couple pairs of baseball socks. The second box had a nice universal remote, a couple of CD lens cleaners, a pocket fan (the kids fight over that one), some keychain lights, cell phone lights, and 3 mini camera tripods. Those are the major things they had in them.

It's kinda of like the lottery, only you actually get stuff you can either use or gift to someone. eBay would be a good place to start if there's anything of decent value that you don't want.

Well I'm getting ready to move so my fiance can go to med school and I'll probably need a power squid so I'm in. Haven't bought anything in a long time, but this looks like a good deal Smile Considering the amount of debt we're going into, I can use a good deal Laughing

I flung one for myself, and am having difficulty getting another or possibly a third if I can.

One for me, Dad, and the girlfriend's father. He's tech saavy, he might get a nice little gift or something. But it won't even let me order 2 ><

Help?

Don't feel bad. Mine has been paid for since i purchased it, and the money was taken out the next day. Money has been deducted from my bank too, and my order status is 'new'.

Things take time, don't rush it. Life's too short anywho.

Franker

PS. I got my other orders, there is like a 20 min internal lockout.
