Ah, the joy of travelling. The spirit of adventure, going to a far, far away land, where everything is new and exciting, and you get to explore a world of possibilities. New cultures, people, language, places, what have you. What a feeling!

But, wait a minute. New outlets? Gee, I bet you never saw that one coming!

You are having the time of your life (no pun intended) and suddenly it dawns on you:

`How am I supposed to use all the essential gadgets I brought with me?’ On top of that, you need your tunes. `What am I gonna do without my faithful travel companion, my beloved iPod?’ You moan.

Well, when the going gets tough, you`ve got to be resourceful ` we say.

How can one even contemplate going on such a journey without your favorite tunes? You don`t have to. The Royal court doesn`t, that`s for sure. Because no matter where we go, Maxell`s 7-in-1 International Power Plug is there to make sure our iPods are never powerless.

But you have to act now. These babies are going fast (That`s the way I like it) and if you miss it, we won`t be able to bring back that love feeling.

I just got mine and on the back of the package it says not compatible with Ipod 1G/2G. Does anyone know this for sure? Don't want to open it if it isn't. Mine is an ipod A1051.

Thanks!!Pray

I believe they're referring to the dock connector, which wasn't introduced until the 3G ipods. Since I don't have one of the older ones, I really can't tell you how to know if they'll work with yours, but I'd assume that, if you had a standard USB to the 30-pin dock connector working with yours, this would work as well.

These really look more like an international USB charger that happens to come with a USB to dock connector...something I actually need a number of for an upcoming trip.

I'm happy TF made me aware of them, but the pricing just isn't enough of a deal to make me bite from here.
