I actually bought this a couple of weeks ago, received it and have been using it. It was a good and useful purchase, quality product, good price, securely packaged, promptly and economically shipped and overall a good purchase. Thanks thingfling. I'm often critical of this site in the past (well deserved), but also give credit where credit is due! Bought a couple of other items since and will report when able. I still don't partake of the "mystery" or other waste of time or money.

I bought one of these, and it makes a popping sound at the beginning and end of every track. If you have the volume up it's not that noticeable, but it's pretty annoying at low volume. Do I have a bad unit, or is this normal for this unit?

When will you offer a unit for the Sansa MP3 players? I know you can plug a cable into these for sound, but we need the docking and charging features too!

Plays my Sansa fine. Just use the cord to go from the Sansa to the Aux input.

While it has been said that it works with all units with a dock, and that one person specifically said it works with iPod Video, I have questions. Does it work for video out from, say, an iPod Classic or an iPhone??
I have bought docks and cords in the past that say they work with the iPhone only for the phone to say that its not made for the iPhone and it doesn't let video or sound come out from the cable. Does this one truely let the iPhone or iPod classic send out video to an attached TV, or are we out of luck once again?

I just flung for 2 of these. They make great presents for anyone w/ iPods. Of any kind. Altec Lansing is a great brand. Every refurb unit I've gotten from them has been like new. No complaints. These were overpriced at $150 when they first came out. At $20 plus shipping: a steal.
I even checked the IMMini one I got with my iPhone: it plays the music. You will get a little notice about not being compatible - this is because the 3g iphoone charges only through the USB port and not the firewire. But if you also attach a dock connecting cable to it it should charge the phone also. That said, I have the Treo unit that I have by my bed to listen to music while charging the phone. These units will be gifts for others.

I thought it was just another daily deal site, but it instead seems to be selling items one right after the other, sort of like a woot-off (excuse my language) So is this normal for the site, from reading the FAQs, it sounds as if it is, and if so, is there always 2 or 3 hours between items, or is it sometimes quicker and/or longer. Any info would be most appreciated. Thanks very much in advance. No, it generally seems to be slower on weekends, and sometimes the items are up for 12 hours at a time. The amount of time varies, probably according to how much inventory they have to move. But they do run one item after another. It's never like the woot-offs, however, with items flashing by nearly faster than you can buy them.

I may have been in for one unit however, the previous item i have ordered from thingfling still shows on FedEx as Package data transmitted to FedEx for over a week now and no response from the helpdesk....please ThingFLing helpdesk let me know what happened. I am obviously not going to order anything until something successfully ships to me. Maybe someone can help me out there.
