Has anyone ever gotten this mysterious "Free Gift"? I've read over and over about this free gift coming after a couple days but I certainly haven't seen anything. I got one of the items I ordered and the other was sent to Texas, which has now been corrected and is on its way back to the right coast. Oh well, it's supposed to be a freebie so I'm not holding out hope for anything special.

The freebies are on their way, and you are correct....they are not that exciting. But they are free.

Sorry about the screwup with the mystery box, I think we now have the computers(our's and dhl's)
playing nice with each other.

I recieved my "mystery box" I ordered before Christmas finally, it was sent back to Texas before it arrived here in horrible condition, the box was ripped open on one side and looked like it had been through a bad sitcom episode about delivery systems... the mystery was horrible... there were hearing aid batteries in there that expired in 2005~~ What the heck is this stuff??? Radio shack took a big old dump and you picked it up and sold it to me. There are things in there that don't even have packaging!! One item is a car adapter... but for what I'll never know. There are maybe two useful Items in a box of crap that is NOT worth the money I spent!!! NONE of these items could be sold today because of the expiration dates!! Isn't this illegal??

Not only will we send you a replacement, since the box was damaged, we have also sent everyone of our customers a very nice FREE GIFT to make up for all of the confusion over what happened to the boxes and what was in it. If you look at some other posts, there have been some very positive cooments, however that is why we are going to an "almost mystery" box in the future. I also suspect, based on you comments, that unfortunately some of the nicer items that were put in your box have gone missing, but once again... We will make this right for you. Remember, if we had something to hide I could remove all of these posts without anyone knowing.

I appreciate your reply and I doubt you have anything to hide... it said mystery box and that is what it was... but I couldn't believe what I found inside... seriously... I wouldn't buy this whole box for a buck at a Flea Market!! I have bought from other web sites with "mystery boxes" and received dissapointing items, but they were in great shape and new... the items you sent me are so old the plastic is yellow and falling apart on most of the items!! There were a TON of Wireless Phone Batteries for a phone that is off the market... I don't know, I am just very dissapointed is all. Thank you for your honesty and I haven't given up on your web site, just on the mystery boxes! Have a happy New Year!

Hehehehe... you are a very nice person who is up very late answering questions... of course I'll reconsider ~ But as far as your web site goes, I'll have nothing but positives to say because of your customer relations... I've never seen anything like it!! I was serious about having a Happy New Year! And try to get some sleep!!

WOW...same here Jules (Also a Dale fan???). The box finally arrived just a little while ago and it is destroyed! The box was crushed and the bottom flap was open and just hanging there. Heck, DHL didn't even attempt to seal it back up. There are a few cables hanging out of it and obviously doesn't have even 10% of what I've read were in other Mystery Boxes. Methinks this 1st Mystery box episode has just been horrible and a downright nightmare, but, like I have said in other posts, I realize there has been a problem and the King is doing everything he can to ensure things go right in the future. I even took another chance at today's "Monster Plus" mystery box. Let's hope that this new order goes much smoother than the last one.

Hey, Fan3car

I have not missed that, I'm trying to keep ourselves out of the forum so our customers have more information from each other. Seems like that's what they like.

But with the amount of problems we had if we kept out we would be out of business by now. Don't worry about your problem and I'll make it up on your new box. Just remember to come back and let us know what you thought about it.

And DALE; both boxes went out today. Yours and JULESFORDALE3's

Sorry for the inconvenience and thank for all the support !

Fair enough!

Honestly, I can see that y'all are trying to make things right, the best you can. That's why I went ahead and ordered another box. I need the surge protectors for the other electronics that Santa left under my tree and the price is fantastic for the Monster surge protector alone.

So, when things calm down and you get caught up I hope you will work hard on making the automatic confirmations and tracking emails a reality. And while we're on the subject please confirm my latest order. Now, how 'bout flinging us a pony Smile

Hey Fling,
I've sent a couple of emails to fling@thingfling.com and haven't gotten any response. I'm still waiting on my mystery box Sad . I went to the DHL website and found that I was one of the unlucky ones whose address got mixed up d'oh! . My box got sent to California instead of Minnesota and I think it is just sitting in a DHL facility in Ontario, CA. Are you guys clearing up these address mix-ups or do I need to contact DHL and try to get the package rerouted back to MN Confused ? I've been please Smile with what I have received so far, but I am kinda hesitant to purchase again until I get my mystery box.

Hoping to here from you soon and looking forward to more great deals,
Whistle
