A great wireless optical mouse at a very reasonable price. What more can you ask for? The Verbatim's Wireless Optical Desktop Mouse is rechargeable and designed for the demanding professional. The wireless feature delivers all the freedom and convenience with no compromise in performance. Easy to use. Easy to transport. The receiver snaps into the mouse for easy transport. There's no need to replace the batteries or carry around a charging cradle with a mouse. You know why? There's no charging cradle. The batteries can be easily recharged using the included USB cable. After all - Its a Verbatim.

I can't buy this because it isn't suitable for me ( I'm not an "iser" )

Quote:

Convenient for right hand or left hand isers;
Fling0: AMB XXVIII ($39.00)
Fling1: Monster Cable Digital Battery Charger w 4AA 1850mAh batteries ($9.00 after 10% off coupon)
Fling2: 2 Siren 4Gb MP3 Players ($39.99)
Fling3: 2x Monster High Capacity Pro Charger ($3.33 each)
Fling4: 12 Super-Bright 9 LED Flashlights ($13.98 )
Fling5: 12 Super-Bright 9 LED Flashlights - LAST TIME SALE ($13.98 )
Fling6: AMB XL (Power Squid) ($12.59)

It's not particularly silly, is it? I mean, the right leg isn't silly at all and the left leg merely does a forward aerial half turn every alternate step.

I just received my last order of three of these - I'm very pleased with them.
Especially since you can charge them via USB connection *WHILE* you use them.
It still uses the cordless receiver even though it's corded via USB.

I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work with Vista - there are no drivers to install.
The mini-CD that comes with it only has a PDF user manual on it, and there isn't a mention of Vista. (I would imagine the product came out before Vista.)

I've read some of the reviews about the rechargeable batteries not lasting very long - that might be the case, but they are standard AAA-sized batteries, so I'm sure you could replace them with regular/alkaline/lithium/other rechargeables if you so desired.

I really like the fact that the receiver stores in the underside (similar to the MS wireless notebook mouse), but the receiver is not as big as the Microsoft one.

Decent cost, works well, it's a keeper for me.

Now if I can just catch them up again for sale to get a few others for spares/gifts/etc. Smile

Using this right now. I am using the cord/charger as I have too much interference in this specific room. Works GREAT outside while sitting by the grill.

I love the rechargable factor!! May sound a bit silly, But I use it as an additional battery charger. Great buy. Applause

EDIT:
I am actually using the longer cable that was provided with my dead ilo or was it filo MP3 player from a past MB. That orange one from wally world. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Maybe I should change my nick to packRAT?
