Usually, I love living in Southern CA. The beaches, mountains and lots of good restaurants. Plus, all those exciting earthquakes. Then the Mystery Boxes go out. Mine won't be here until the 6th. Crying or Very sad

65 Flings!!! and counting

In a small Texas town, a new bar/tavern started a building to open up their business. The local Baptist church started a campaign of petitions and prayers to block the bar from opening.

Work progressed, however right up till the week before opening, when a lightning strike hit the bar and it burned to the ground.

The church folks were rather smug in their outlook after that, till the bar owner sued the church on the grounds that the church was ultimately responsible for the demise of his building, either through direct or indirect actions or means. The church vehemently denied all responsibility or any connection to the building's demise in its reply to the court.

As the case made its way into court, the judge looked over the paperwork. At the hearing he commented, "I don't know how I'm going to decide this, but as it appears from the paperwork, we have a bar owner who believes in the power of prayer, and an entire church congregation that doesn't."

Every morning to cheer myself up, I create a computer file and name it Barack Obama. Then I move it into the recycling bin and hit empty the recycling bin...the computer always leaves his fate in my hands by asking.....

Not to pull mathematics into the argument of how to judge being shagged or not, but consider the fact that 10 lbs of gold is the same as 10 lbs of poker watches to FedEx.

Anyway, If FedEx is to be believed, I will have mine tomorrow as New Jersey loves to deliver to Maryland ultra fast. I will post as soon as I crack it open and crush the dreams of west coasters several days early.

Not to pull Mathematics or rather science into it but Gold is measured in Troy Ounces not Avoirdupois like poker chips Gold would weigh 8 AV pounds...well someone had toWhistle Whistle d'oh! Shame on you

Well I don't know if this is good news or bad news but no it's not smartpost. But TF has been using Fedex Home Delivery which delivers on Saturdays but is closed on Mondays. For me smartpost( for those that don't know, Smartpost= fedex carries it to your local area and hands it off to your local US Postal Service) on a fedex delivery is actually good news at least then I know it will be delivered to me not the house next door where no one lives currently. But as of about 3 months ago due to constant problems and complaints from me I now have some sort of manager/supervisor that delivers my fedex shipments and gets signature on every delivery even when it is not sent requiring signature. I told her I don't mind signing for it at least this way I a little reassured that it will get to me. YMMV

Flings Flung: 40 total orders- Regular items- 22 Orders, 40 items; MB/AMB- 16 orders, 23 MBs/AMBs; 2 Canceled( 1 voluntary, 1 bad batch of Batteries w/ Chargers)
In 9 months of Flings I have already surpassed my purchases of almost 2yrs on that other DOD site where it's nearly impossible to get their mystery 'bag'... lol

Funny, my local Fedex is the same way. They screw up my deliveries at least half the time. I've had to file a complaint with their corporate before. I now have the phone number to local shipment center and have had to talk to the manager several times. But it makes things much easier now to get it fixed when they screw up a delivery.

I am shipped as well, arrive 8/6, and also 10lbs. No shagging here, unless they put in a birthday card for me!!! Maybe it is 10lbs of birthday cards! AHAHAHAH ROTFLMAO! My birthday was ok, I went out to dinner with the wife and kid, and then paid the bill. LOL I've got my health, that is all that matters.

I am looking forward to the guys in Maryland who will get their tomorrow. I'll be watching.
