I had the same question. I was also wondering how long the cord was. Kind of sloppy description, if you ask me.

According to Amazon reviews, they are very tight. The cord is long but of a low gauge.

I got a pair in one of MB's and I enjoy them very much nice sounding. They are right the cord is very long but like was mentioned it is low gauge. soft pleather ear pads. easy on the head not a tight fit like others. but very nice for the price that they are selling them for.
