This handy charger allows you to take full advantage of your demanding,
high-capacity rechargeable batteries to get you up and running right
away.

Uhhhh.... how rapid is 'rapid'? Since a 'regular' charger takes up to 8 hours, anything less could claim to be 'rapid'. I don't want a set that charges in 7.5 hours...

This is a POS. I got this the last time they had it.

"1 CH-1875-3PACK 3 Pack of Digital Concepts Charger for AA + 12 Batteries $19.99"

Out of the 12 batteries 3 of them worked. I would not recommend this for anyone. Sorry ThingFling.... just not one of your better items.

I was hoping the LCD would show some type of status regarding the amount of charge the battery has at that time. Well, I'll never find out as mine is DOA! Of course for < $20 it's not worth the return. Sux!

Go to a retail store like Fry's, CompUSA, Computer City, Staples, etc. and you'll find a much beter bargain (that you can take back if it doesn't work!).

Just a note for those that may be interested in these... The ones offered here/ now are not the same that were offered then. Previous product I believe MoonDogg is referring to: http://www.thingfling.co...r-AA--12-Batteries.aspx I ordered those when they were offered in February and these ones have a different battery capacity (previous 4 AA 2200 mAh NiMH, current 2000mAh NiMH High Capacity) and the charger is a totally different style. Yes the previous ones did have issues( some had European plugs not American and many had issues with leaking/ DOA batteries) and to my knowledge due to those issues everyone was refunded for them. But these are a different product entirely, Only thing the same is the brand Digital Concepts( Previous UPC: 021331259035, Current UPC: 021331997104). YMMV
