Hey all, I've been laying low for a while, quite busy. And also the mood around here has been quite sad, no? Sad When it rains it pours..

Anyway--You know I've discovered a new hobby ever since I got Socks (my puppy)--puppy accessorizing shopping! It's great--I get to exorcise my shopaholic/dealaholic problem, BUT I feel much better about myself, 'cause it ain't for me, it's for socks!

So anyway my current new favorite DoTD site to check daily at midnight is one I just recently discovered after upgrading a week or so to the most current version of wootalyzer, which has it tracked, although I believe it is not turned on by default: http://paws4deals.com/ DoTD for pet stuff! Brilliant, no? I have not received my first order from them yet, but it should be here any day now.

So how about you all, anyone found any other cool DoTDs? Any new favorites? ThingFling obviously is the top fav, but that's just a given. (c'mon TF, sell some pet stuff, you gotta know by now there's a good base of us who'd buy!)

I got my first purchase from them in the mail today. Everything's good, so I'll keep watching them. Socks gave quite a scare on the 4th, he got spooked by a nearby firework and before anyone knew what was happening, or before I could grab the leash, he was outta there and out the court. Man, scary, it was night time, and Socks is TINY. Was at my sister's house with the family, and we had four people at least searching for him. THANKFULLY my mother was there, she is the QUEEN of finding impossible to find things. She found him out the court, across the street, hiding in a hole beneath someone's porch. THANKFULLY he had his leash attached, otherwise she'd have never spotted him, as that was the only thing sticking out of the hole (and happens to be bright orange). Very relieving to say the least. Anyhow so when I get home and see the paws4deals deal for that night it was for these dog guardian tags--goes on their collar, has two super bright orange flashing LEDs, and is motion activated so it only flashes when they're moving, and also is light sensitive so only flashes when they're moving at night. for 3 bucks each I think it was. I ordered 3, would've been handy that night. They came today, looks like it'll work out, though perhaps a bit big for socks.

Shock Shock Poor lil Socks!! I know I had to hold Skynyrd to calm him..and he's NOT little!...because he was shaking from all the noise!! I'm glad Mom was there..I'd hate to think you having to be out there ALL night looking for Socks. He is WAY too small to be out on his own!! Shock

Those sound cool...nice price too!! I hope they're not TOO big, but I'm sure Socks will learn to get used to it...just keep telling him WHY he has to have it!!

Hah yeah I saw those, I'm trying to cut back on the toys for now, socks currently has no less than a JILLION. Amazon has some nice prices on some quality toys. I bought a TON of the "Pet Stages" brand they sell, most are way cheap, AND on top of that most of them qualify for Amazon's 4 for the price of 3 promo. Haha. Dough. Lots and lots of toys over here for socks. Wink

AND on their just past Friday sale they had a pet drinking fountain on sale for $19.99... Socks is enjoying his invigorating mountain stream-esque fresh and chilled water. And I'm jealous, I wish they made those people sized.
