Got my box and it looks like the same as most! Yahoo phone, Linksys antenna, flashlights, cables, and the shower radio.
I have a question, though. The shower radio came broken...the little AM/FM switch was snapped off. Does TF ever replace mystery box items like that?

So, got my box opened (been busy and actually forgot to open it after my wife's came) - and I have to tell you, TF totally redeemed themselves in my view from the "infamous" MB fiasco - this was an excellent value for the money spent (I ordered three) and I have already sold enough to make a profit while keeping those items I wanted / needed. I got pretty much exactly what everyone else did, no shagging for me (although I did use the radio in the shower with the wife . . . for all of you who know the TRUE meaning of the word shag).
I am certainly happy I gave TF another try after the big "Infamous" box ordeal - and I must say, I think if they could pull off MB's equal to or better than these, I'd be more apt to buy them then I would featured products. In fact, I'd go so far as to say to the Court that if it works for you to put together boxes of this caliber for this money, I'd say put a permanent link up on the side (like woot! does with a side deal) and offer the MB's all the time. This one was THAT good, and if you can keep it up (quality, etc.) I think you've got a long term winner - take advantage of it - I'd buy a few boxes every week, if the contents changed.
I can't bring myself to bite on a MB over $30.00 bucks or so though - I did buy the $31.99 box and am very happy that I did - it was awesome. AMB's for $20-$60 would be no problem, but three 10 dollar boxes plus shipping is about my limit dollar wise on a true mystery.
By the way - it would be truly fun to see a MB offering where the contents were different across the board (as in everyone gets something different) - I know it might be difficult to pull off but it would awesome fun, especially for those of us that watch the forums regularly.
Thanks again!

Yes, when possible, they have replaced defective/ broken items in the past but with MBs it is not always guaranteed that they will have the items available for replacement. Best thing to do is send a help ticket with as much info about the issue as you can. But as with just about any online shop( not just daily deal sites either but even major etailers, even those with real brick and mortar locations) you will have to pay the shipping charges to send it back. Send a help ticket and see what they can do to remedy it. Hope this helps. ~~Jinx

Now THAT would be VERY cool! Kinda like a Grab Bag Mystery Box! Then we can all post what we got and it will still be a mystery for everyone else!! How fun! Love that Idea!! I wonder if they could do that!

I wonder if they could do that! Even if a "core" or "main" item or two was the same and there was a true, complete variance (as in no one got the same at all) in two or three items that were thrown in it would still make for giant fun - especially if the items were of the same caliber of this last box. AND, it would push people back to the forums to post and read what others got - it might resurrect the POSITIVE posting here and help with that issue tremendously. Understand, of course, that I realize that it would be difficult given that they might move a lot of boxes, but if they advertised it well and limited the number they would guarantee a sell-out. Hey, King, how about a marketing position in my spare time? LMAO. What would be even better, and would go a LONG way for free word of mouth advertising would be a couple HUGE items in the mix like woot! has done (televisions, etc.). Shag someone a 62" flat screen like they did over there and the entire Internet will blog about it . . . during one "bag of crap" in 2005 they moved through five grand of large ticket items they "shagged"at people - and people STILL talk about it to this very day. It is the reason they get the traffic that they do during a woot-off - everyone holds out for that bag hoping they will get a large ticket item and buys other crap all day while waiting . . .

I finally got around to opening these yesterday and I have the regular 3 Box items. I have a question on the Linksys antenna extender. Does anyone know if this could somehow work with a Westell wireless router?

Thank you for your e-mail.
Unfortunately, we are unable to process your request.
As stated in the product post, due to the nature of this order and these items Thing Fling will not accept any returns.
If you have additional questions please let us know.
Thank You HelpFlinger So sad!! Of all the items in the box, the shower radio was the coolest. I don't really have a use for the cables or flashlights.

Woohoo! Another MB with very useful stuff - and even 2 things that I"ve had on my 'when I get to Frys' shopping list! Installed as soon as I could get the packages open: Philips 12ft Component cables - I had decided that I needed a set of these a while back, since my home theater only has a component out... Philips 6ft HDMI/DVI Conversion Cable - perfect! I'd had my computer hooked up to my tv for gaming, and not two days before this MB, I decided I wanted a set of these to see if it would help (and it DOES!) The Emerson Flashlights - always useful, just need to get the big batteries for the big one, and the apt. will be well equipped in case of these ol' not uncommon TX summer storms that frequently knock the power out... Shower Radio - didn't think I'd have a use for this until I saw the clock on it... will help keep me honest for those days that I need to take the 3 minute shower, but my ADD brain gets warm and comfy in the shower and I wind up lingering... Stuff for the geek box, for when one of my 'can you help me with techy stuff' friends calls Two Philips 3ft Coaxial Cables Philips 12ft DVI Cable USB data sensing cable (oooh, pretty lights!) Linksys Phone Linksys Antenna Extender (range not being much of an issue in an apartment ;p) I *love* that we get so much Linksys stuff, since I swear by their network products! And the haul on this one (and the $31.99 mystery box with the headphones) made it easy to bite on the 123.45 box! Curiosity killed the cat.... Satisfaction brought it back!
