Several months ago, when I learned that TF would only ship to the billing address on your credit card, or an address you've previously set up with your credit card as an authorized "alternate shipping address", I added a second address to my credit card.

In the past 2 weeks, I've tried to order two separate items (multiple times) and have them shipped to that alternate address, but the order status always comes up as "FAILED". I've been able to use the same card and send items to my billing address before and after these failed attempts with no problem. (I was wanting to get items as gifts for my sister and father.)

I've since submitted a ticket to the Help Desk, and have learned that due to Thing Fling's ordering system, not even HelpFlinger himself is able to order the items I've tried to order after the offer has expired. In addition to that, he has yet to provide any help to prevent this from happening again in the future.

Has anyone else in the kingdom had previously authorized alternate shipping address orders fail? Other than shipping an item to me, and then I ship the item to my family (over 1,800 miles away) and pay even more for shipping, or quit getting gifts for other people, does anyone have any suggestions?
