On top of all the other stress I've had this week between the new cat, my son having strep, guess what he brought home yesterday?
A nice little.....POISON IVY RASH! Brick wall Brick wall Brick wall Brick wall Brick wall
At first I was afraid it was an allergy to the meds they gave him, but it's very localized on his leg. And it is slightly oozing.
Someone shoot me, please?Pray I'm not ready for summer. It's too early for poison ivy rashes already! Just thank goodness it's not on his face like it was last year.

go to wal-mart or a local drug store--there is an ointment called IVY-DRY --it will clear up the poison ivey in about 3 days or so--I ahve used it and it works

seriously? thanks! i'll try that. He had it BAD last year(actually it was poison oak and not ivy last year)

It should work for either one, the stuff used to come in a brown bottle--but I haven't tried to find it in a few years but a doctor recommended it to me back in the day.
