Hmmm how very true. We have the ability to become whatever we want. Who we are is just a state of mind in ourselves and those who know us. We imagine and believe what we want about ourselves and try to convince those around us to believe in that same delusion. Fortunately, who we think we are and what other people think we are is very different. I can believe I am a super genius but most of the people who read this will probably think I'm a naive little tadpole. Makes me wonder where Greer thinks this "right" comes from. Does he mean that we have this unalienable right because we have great imaginations? I would argue that this right is very easily taken away from people. Under complete oppression, human beings can be reduced to barely more than automatons trying to survive and replicate their genes.
