THING FLING cares about your health. So for the low, low price of $7.99 there is no excuse for you not to get in shape.
All the experts agree: The heart is the most important muscle in the body and, like all muscles, should be exercised regularly to remain strong and efficient. But how can you determine if you are exercising your heart both safely and effectively?
Fortunately, the heart itself provides you with key information that will help you examine the effectiveness and the degree of safety of your training method. Your heart rate, which is expressed in a single number (Beats Per Minute) gives a constant account of your body`s state of health. Your heart rate will tell you how fast you are using energy or whether you are exercising to hard or lax.
Obviously, your body does not benefit from a training method if your heart rate is too slow. If it is too high, you run the risk of injury and you will suffer from fatigue. It does not matter whether your goal is to win athletic meetings, lose weight or simply improve your overall health. What is important is that you can refine your training method by keeping your heart rate within a certain target zone. In order to accomplish this, you would obviously need to know your precise heart rate at any given moment throughout your training session. Modern technology has now enabled us to present you with wireless electronic pulse computers. Monitoring your heart rate is easy and fun to do.
At THING FLING it is also cheap monitoring your heart. The Bios Fitness Cardio Health allows you to control the calories you burned working out, to count your steps, the miles you walked or ran and allows you to monitor how your heart works while you do it. Only $7.99!
Enjoy the opportunity to make a good deal!

The Pedometer measures Kilo Miles. No big deal. I am having a problem with the sending unit and the heart rate monitor connecting. I would walk a mile to town, and the first half mile the sending unit and the monitor can't find each other.

At $16.99 this is a good deal. Too bad I know I won't use it if I buy it. "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. I would walk a mile to town, and the first half mile the sending unit and the monitor can't find each other. From the description of your problem, it sounds like you are not getting good contact between your chest and the sending unit. Good contact for a HRM does not mean tight against your chest (right above your heart). It means that there is enough moisture betwen the two to conduct a little electric charge, which then causes the sending unit to signal the watch. You say it doesn't start to work until 1/2 thru your walk. That's because you've probably built up enough sweat on your chest to begin the signal. Usually a bad connection between the chest strap and the watch means that the send unit is not getting good contact with your chest. All HRM suggest you "moisten" the back of the sending unti to promote better contact and stronger signals. I *bleech" lick the back on my chest unit to get good contact. Cycle Shops sell a liquid called "Ba-Bump" that does the same thing. HTH ... Also ... this is a great buy ... a replacement chest strap for a HRM (they are 99.9% interchangable between manufactuers) is usually $20-30! The cheapest HRM (watch and strap) that I have ever seen is $30!! The price for the HRM alone is fantastic!

FYI if this ever comes up again, don't waste your time. Can't find an address or phone number for the company, I think it's made in China and distributed in England. The products itself are very cheap and I can't even get the watch to work. Save your money and buy something else. I find it hard to believe ThingFling would even bother selling this piece of junk. I'd rather throw $13.99 down a toilet than deal with the frustration.
