I LIKE ads. It's not that we don't like ads, we just don't like ads when they are out of place. ~ Bill Barnes

One of the ads on your site today was for a porn site. It seemed really out of place, considering that I accessed it from a work computer. Are you guys trying to fling me out of a job?

If they are referring to FreeFlings.com, I believe it is a porn site. I, too, tried to access it from work but got my corporate 'block for pornography content' page.
I planned to try to access it from home to see if it was indeed porn.

It is in fact porn site. I too clicked on the ad on TF's home page and was quite surprised...and disappointed that TF would sell ads to such a site. I know we're all adults, but really....

It is a personals site but its the google ads engine, TF doesnt really pick what pops up. The current one "When wil lyou die?" is a scam site wanting you to sign up and pay for stuff. There is an option to turn off these things in the google ads. Or they could just get rid of the google ads and only use actual sponsored companies

And while TF may not get to choose which ads come up, they do get money for it. Maybe time for a complaint to google ads, King?

You can be sure that we did not pick those ads, this in fact were generated by the keywords on the page where the ad is being served.

I did not get any of those ads served on my page, if someone could PM the URL to me i will make sure they won't appear here again, i am also contacting Google for an explanation.

I do not see an option to disallow adult content from ads (in fact all i found is that google doesn't allow this type of ads Think ), but i may have overlooked.

We do not and will not allow adult content on our website, there is plenty of websites that do that already.

Any questions please let us know.

I contacted Google Ads today via the link on their ads and complained cause I didn't think this is something that you'd approve. Thanks for taking note.

I complained to google yesterday by clicking on their notice on the ads (I didn't visit the sites). Ironically, now there are ads for women on the bottom of this discussion page! I told google about these also.

That's actually pretty funny. I wonder how this "keyword" thing work with the google ads. Like if we complain a lot about something in a forum, does that make it more likely that it will show up in the google ads (like when the ads for kitchen timers popped up when we were all complaining about the timer leaving.)

Just in case that is how it works, I'd like to see ads for

free beer

Lets see what happens.
