ThingFlingers, Rejoice!

ThingFling Games is a new and exciting section on our forum where we will be posting some random entertainment for our community members.

We hope you all enjoy this new section of the website, for suggestions and comments please send us your thoughts.

Every winner gets a gift. Let us just stress out that it will be a symbolic gift. We just might get crazy and send you something else but that will be totally up to us.

Good luck and let the Games Begin!

Hmm... Well a fun and exciting game on some other forums lately, is called 'Global Warming', where opposing views try to convince each other that they are wrong, and convert the other, using pseudo-science, made up stuff that sounds technical and believable, quotes and links to other opinionated blogs and articles as facts. I've found the discussions highly amusing, there is almost a cult-like following, since there is no actual way to conclusively prove one way or another, it comes down to faith, who you believe most.

Personally, I don't think we have that much influence over this planet, and it's been through many changes, and supported life for a lot longer than we've been around. We survive, be cause we can adapt to changes. We made it through a major cold spell, and will most like survive in a slightly warmer climate as well.

All that coal and oil we burn, use to be plants and animals, in a much warmer climate. All that carbon was already in the environment, not buried deep underground. Would guess most living things had it pretty good before the ice came. Considering the past month, don't think a little warming would be such a bad thing.
